Used to play this and other James Swearingen compositions back in high school in jr high and high school about 15 to 20 years ago. Oh my gosh did I start geeking out while listening to this. Still remember all the parts! And I'm glad band geeks are still playing it today. Band geeks for life! Totally posting this on my Facebook and tagging all my band sisters!

There were three works by Swearingen that all centered around the same basic melody and chord patterns. As a trumpet player in middle school and also high school bands in the late 80s, early 90s, I played all three and LOVED them. Invicta, Majestia, and Centuria.
