Thanks for the clear explanation! 😊 Question, do you know if the Rate Per kW h increases as you hit a specific ceiling? Example, yung 8.3195 na rate is applicable only if below 300 kW h yung consumption sa bahay and then the rate increases if you go over 300 kW h?

Yes Sir. Nag-iincrease Distribution Charge if mataas po consumption (kWh) based po sa threshold (e.g. 301-400kWh, Over 400kWh). You can search online po Meralco Rates Archives and may PDF po doon ng Summary Schedule of Rates per month. You will notice the increase po the higher the consumption. P.S. Sorry for delayed response :)

If wala pong tao sa bahay and zero consumption for 1 month? I guess it may cost around 6 to 10 pesos lang po 🤔

If sa Meralco po, meron silang monthly updates sa website nila or sa news sites for cost per kWh. For this month of September, nasa Php 9.9365 per kWh sa typical household consumption. Yun po i-mumultiply ninyo sa actual consumption ninyo for 1 month. Though hindi po as in exact sa magiging billing, but very close.

paano po ung samin nung minultiply namin ang kwh sa generation charge nasa 500 plus lang tapos ang total ng bill.namin umaabot ng almost 1500. Sa dame ng mga charge ek ek.. hindi poba questionable un ksi anlayo naman ng 500 sa 1500

Si Meralco po kasi ma'am is distributor lang kaya separate po Generation charge sa Distribution charge and others. And yun tax din po kasi talaga 😅

Good day po, ask ko lang po need pa rin po ba na i monitor ang meter, eh nasa bill na rin naman po ang current and previous? dun na lang po natin i base ang computation.

Hi po. Pwede pong hindi. Depende po sa preference po ninyo. Ako po kasi regular kong minomonitor for 3 reasons. 1.) At least twice a week chinecheck ko para nareregulate ko electric consumption namin in case mapansin kong biglang tumaas than our average, esp. kapag hindi namomonitor pag-open ng mga AC, and may ibang kasama. 2.) Para iwas doubt na lang po na assumed ang reading, like yun nangyari last year na hindi natin nalaman agad na nag-estimate lang pala based on average from previous consumptions. 3.) Para hindi ko na po hinihintay billing namin na maggenerate, since madalas may delay sa amin. Though meron na rin pong email notification sa akin now na agad na rin namang narerereceive after 1 business day.

Maam ask q lang po sana, halos po ba tlga ng bill ng meralco lalo na pag commercial tapos lahat ng gumagamit nka sub. Naman , mai excess po ba tlga na lumalabas dun at d alam kung san galing? Sabi kasi samin normal dw po yan lalo na dw po pag commercial yung tinirahan. Slamat po sa sagot.

Hi po. Sa residential po kasi need po ipa-check or ipa-calibrate pag ganyan. Hindi ko lang po sure sa procedure pag sa commercial. If significant amount po difference every month, better po kung may technician na na magcheck.

Hi! Thanks for watching. I usually just search on Google the Meralco rate and maraming news media pages may articles for that. Pero pag nag-eestimate ako ng consumption, I usually just multiply to 8.7 since fluctuating yun rate monthly. And may iba pang charges na dinadagdag like Subsidies.

Sa amin po laging nasa range ng 300kWh yun monthly consumption and ginagamit ko na now (to date) na rate is 9.3 pesos para mas dikit sa actual billing and pataas nang pataas na po kasi rate in recent months. And if over 400kWh po yun inyo, tama po na mas mataas. Kung ang Distribution charge po kasi ng sa amin na within 301-400 range is 1.6175 per kWh, sa inyo po na over 400kWh, 2.1387 charge per kWh.

Same lang po dapat rate ng sa submeter. Same computation din po doon. Present reading minus the Previous reading para makuha total consumed electricity in kWh. Ngayong July, tumaas na naman kuryente. If mas mataas ang monthly consumption, mas mataas yun lumilitaw na rate. Sa amin po na 300+ kWh a month, lumilitaw na nasa 9.3 pesos per kWh. Safe na po sigurong iestimate na 9.5 pesos per kWh now para mas dikit sa actual billing.

If wala naman pong nadagdag na appliances and wala naman ding nagbago sa daily na paggamit ninyo ng electricity pero bigla na lang tumaas than usual, yun po yung nakakaduda. Maganda if macheck ninyo meter ninyo if gumagalaw kahit nakababa breaker. Or better kung mapacalibrate po meter ninyo kung talagang malayo po itinaas ng bill and if questionable po talaga. Pero ang malaki pong consumption ay refrigerator and AC lalo na if non inverter. Heads up ko lang din kayo na mas tataas bill now compared last month kasi tumaas rate ng meralco this month of March and tag-init na rin po.

Bkt po kya sa amin napakataas ng distribution (meralco) always around 1,600 at minsan nag 1,900 pa bkt ung iba nmn po maliit ang singil nila

If around 1,600 po Distribution (Meralco) subtotal ninyo, I'm assuming na nasa 600 kWh total ninyo for that month. If nasa 1,900 pesos naman po Distribution subtotal, I'm assuming approx. 700 kWh po total for the month. Yun distribution charge po kasi mataas once nag over 400 kWh na po. 2.1387 na po kasi distribution charge nya per kWh, compared po sa 1.6175/kWh if 301 to 400kWh. If 201 to 300 kWh po, 1.3183 pesos lang x total kWh. And 1.0012 lang po per kWh pag total kWh po ninyo is 200kWh and below lang.

Thank you po. Recently po, pataas nang pataas monthly rate ng Meralco. Recently, lumilitaw na approx. 9.3 pesos per kWh yun amin na nasa 300+ kWh ang monthly consumption. Safe na po sigurong iestimate na 9.5 pesos per kWh now para mas dikit sa actual billing.
