My brothers and I used to play this game all the time when we were younger. I guess you could say, it was a "HUMONGOUS" part of my childhood! ;) Unfortunately, though, it seems to have become incredibly hard-to-find in recent years, (and even if I did find a copy, there's no guarantee that I'd get it to work on my modern computer) which means that this let's-play is probably the closest I'll get to ever playing the original Backyard Baseball again. So, thanks, PBG! You've made me very happy today by choosing to play this game.

Usually your best hitter bats third. That way he is guaranteed to bat at the top of the lineup.. your hitter that is a great power hitter but not necessarily best hits fourth to potentially drive in the most runs at the start of the lineup

I agree. Leadoff gets on base-#2 advances runner to scoring position- Third batter is the best hitter- Cleanup is the best power hitter. I always batted Pablo #3 and Keisha #4.

In baseball, you want your best power and clutch guy at the cleanup (4th), however, you want your most well rounded (best batter) to bat 3rd because he will ultimately bat in the first inning and get more at-bats.
