Its simple but not easy :-) Just takes a good teacher or video and lots of practice.

His water surface techniques that show some of the depth below the water are exceptionally realistic. It's one of his trademark skills as a top artist. I found his book in a bookshop in Madrid yesterday, so I had to buy it! It's a wonderful publication that gives real insight into his art and his whole approach to painting. The book is called: Curso de Acuarela a través del Paisaje, published by Anaya Touring. I've no doubt that I'll be studying this book for years to come while I try to drag myself from beginner level to starting to understand how watercolour behaves. When is the "watercolour live" event being streamed?
