As already been mentioned by others, this song has been around for a while in Pablo's soundcloud. He mentioned he wrote it when he was 14 years old. Initially, he was unsure about releasing this song. In fact, he hesitated in releasing a lot of the songs in his ALON album such as kumunoy, drowning in the water, Wala aka ???. In one of his live in tiktok, he mentioned that he is no longer in that state of mind when he wrote Wala and Kumunoy so he was unsure if he can still give it justice when he performs it again (after the UNA tour we all know that he surely can, plus he changed some of the lyrics and melody to somehow make the song more uplifting than just outright depressing). DITW, he said that he cringed every time he thinks about the song because, well he was still so young when he wrote it and it was about young love. But, his fans relentlessly begged him to release these songs, like begged him. And that's why we now have the ALON album. This album is definitely an AOTY-material and a lot of songs included are SOTY-material as well.
