Pablo the Golden Retriever discovers Pizza Friday, Slow cooked Turkey for everyone, Shadow farm dog

Pablo the Golden Retriever is staying the weekend and so this is the first time he has experienced Pizza Friday’s. Going to be honest he couldn’t believe such a secret was being kept from him!
So there was a big cook up for all the dogs. Slow bbq cooked turkey! Someone somehow accidentally unplugged the freezer and all the turkey breast had to be cooked up as it had been defrosted. The dogs were more than accommodating in helping us out.
Aunty Kris took the Staffy sisters back for naps. With their conditions and their little size, they only make it out for the mornings and lunch then it’s back to bed for arvo naps.
Enzo found the mud on the way to the bus. Sorry mum!
Elle comes home from school and is greeted with the warmest greeting of her pack mates.
And at the very end of the day when Jase is feeding the animals, Shadow is free range helping and hanging out with the house pack. What a transformation. Loving the farm life now and she’s loving it.

I think when Pablo gets home after his DDFT weekend, he'll be asking his pawrents to change his daycare day to Friday! After Wednesday, when the word gets around about pizza Friday, there might be quite a crowd wanting to change too! 🍕Miss Violet was like a miniature shark snatching the Turkey from Luke; I'm surprised she didn't take his hand off! 🦃🦈 Loved the last bit with Shadow helping Jason feeding the animals. What a sweetheart she is now. To think it's not that long ago when she became so aggressive with the daycare dogs while she was muzzled and on the leash. Wow wee girl you've come such a long way! 💋

Enzo is as big as the 3 Musketeers, isn't he younger? Conrad always a pleasure to see. Does he come every Friday? Seems like I haven't seen him in awhile. It's wonderful seeing some of the original shelter dogs on farm trips now. Who would have thought that when seeing their first videos at the farm? This shows how much you are changing lives!!! Miss V ate that big turkey chunk like it was a piece of kibble!! Gulp!! Miss Red sat trembling, waiting to be served! Loved Miss V's carrier out for nap time!! Little legs just dangling!! I was glad to see Luke take the turkey pan over to Conrad, who had been waiting in the pool the whole time for the gang to join him. Wolfie decided the box was more tasty than the pizza - and I loved his expressions when Elle got home and was greeting him. Then, dogs will be dogs for sure!! Little (ha-ha) Enzo found the final excursion into the mud before heading home. He only wanted to keep a little piece of the Farm until his next visit!!! Mom will be so proud! Well Pablo was in sheer heaven today with Pizza Friday and Turkey!! His face said it all 😂😂😂 Miss Violet and Miss Red are so adorable 🥰 when they went for their nap time 😴. Then the pack went Gaga for Turkey Day and for pizza- but swimming is the hit of the hit of the day! Great jumps that are still out of this world- impressive! What an enjoyable Friday! Pizza and fresh turkey- you can’t get better than that! All the dogs loved it! (Side note- I wish the US imported the Solo lemon drinks that you guys enjoy.)

I think Solo is a Coke product as is Fanta ( an orange flavoured very orange coloured ( what in Australia we call soft (non alcoholic) drink) soda. Solo is a lemon flavoured very fizzy, lemon coloured soft drink ( not at all like purchased lemonade which in Australia is usually a clear colour) . Maybe Coke has a product in the US that is like Solo but marketed under a different name.

@@micheledix2616 I know I've seen Fanta products here in the US, but I can't remember what flavors I've seen. On an unrelated topic, can you tell me the meaning of "arvo", as Sam used it in her notes: arvo naps? I assumed it means "afternoon" but wasn't sure if it was a typo or an Aussie term...

@@Danika_Nadzan yes Danika, you are correct we do use arvo as a shortening for afternoon. Just like avo is the shortening for avocado. I have no idea when this contraction of words happened but I have always known to use contractions of speech and in writing long before we began txting and contracting words to fit more characters in a message on a mobile phone. I am and older person and shortening of words is the norm for me

That was lovely. Enzo's mud bath was fab - not a care just having fun. I've asked followers before but its pot luck who reads this. Has there ever been a spotlight video on Dash? If someone knows could you send me the date to scroll back to? I love her little grey face and how she keeps calm in the pool entertaining herself with a calm swim and ball while the youngsters are hyper around her.

Understandably the boisterous young dogs that are all over Luke are the ones that appear up close on camera more often. Dash is a little more demure ...unless there's food.
