It's wonderful to see such a lucid approach to the apparently oblique. It's like having a veil lifted in real time. Great channel, much appreciated.

That was just fantastic!!! You have no idea how happy I was to see this video come up in my notifications. I adored your discussion of the tonality of f-sharp minor, particularly as it is my favorite key. Amidst this, I greatly appreciate the halo of light you brought to your interpretation of the Sarabande, which meant a lot to me. A truly fantastic performance, and I thank you for sharing the love for this criminally underrated music!!!

I've only written one piece in F# minor and found it very challenging at the time, your explanation of the differing temperaments really helped me understand why 👍

Beautiful and informative. Thanks so much for explaining the different temperaments as well as playing a beautiful piece of music that I would not have heard otherwise.

Thank you very much for your well figured out explanation of the piece. Very interesting! Could you please think of providing a specific video on the different types of temperaments that exist. It would be very revealing to me.

It's such a complex topic, that I always wonder how I could fit all the information in one video! This may not offer all the information regarding temperaments, but a while ago I made two videos exploring some aspects behind temperaments (see links below). I hope these do provide some useful information to you! kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmHUpX6mqLOmf9U kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6u7iIuQfs6oipo

Not technically challenging - music to my ears. Going to see if it will be useful to arrange for my violin students!!
