The editing that went into this! Every second was just phenomenal to watch. Beautiful, fantastic! And then you made it. The fires, the floods, the snow, the mosquitos, the broken toe nails...just incredible to watch. My husband watched earlier last week and said this was a must watch. So true. You are awesome! -Alison

Was so cool watching this after completing it a few weeks ago. This year was so different. I jumped up ahead from Warner to Wrightwood then to Kennedy Meadows, back down to Warner, and went Wrightwood and back up to Kennedy. Can ya tell I wanted to miss the snow on San Jacinto? But what was so weird was seeing all your shots of the Sierra. There were so few people this year many of the passes I did alone. When I first jumped up to Wrightwood I spent the next full month without seeing another hiker (day or thru). It was strange but amazing. Felt like what the trail probably felt like back in the '70s. CDT next year to work on my Triple Crown. (crossing fingers) I still give you credit for making this hiking lifestyle possible for me. That tip about renting your place out made all this possible. Much love, -Too Clean

So what did you think of the PCT. Verses application? I did Muir trail 54 years ago. There were no bridges and trail disappeared often lots of fords and ledges yes? I met up with a Wolverine I was the last person to do so in about 90 years sighting the only one in California in person Till recently I fell off of the Minerets near mammoth about 400-500 feet and survived but was helped out by a lone hiker up there about 12-13000 feet because we were off the trail where William Star himself died in 1933 who wrote a guidebook there before he passed out from historical Stanford research facilities and mountain lodge at fallen leaf lake and white mountain: elev 14500 feet plus. NEVER FULLY measured as to height! Could it be the highest? Was attacked twice by a bear in Yosemite high country and in sequoia near wolf lodge and survived Plus the Wolverine. And came with in inches of falling over a sheer clif waterfall at taboos pass but just got ahold of the roots of a shrub riverside to pull myself out of the extremely rushing roar of the river befor it fell over the precipice

Well, I never got a chance to walk the entire trail. But in 1980 I worked on the trail, doing the archaeology clearances for it, between the Southern Sequoias, to the Walker pass area. I lived on the trail for 45 days, living in a tent and walking along it. As I currently live in Ridgecrest I meet a lot of the hikers who come down to do laundry and resupply themselves. I enjoy talking to the hikers. As I said, I would love to hike some of the trail, but unfortunately being nearly 70 years old with a bad back, I cannot really make it anymore. So thanks for the video.

My wife and I are thinking of doing this were in our 50s' it would be the last chance in our lives to be able to do it. She lost her job last year I think best way for us would be to liquidate all our stuff we built up over the last 30 years even our house the market is so hot right now we can really boost our savings and when we have more then enough to last 4-5 years without any income I'm sure I could get a job when we got back from the hike. We would need health insurance for sure have to plan all that out. I'm tired of the IT world been doing that for last 30 years this would be a good chance to check out for awhile while we hike and take advantage of the hot market not have to buy. We might just buy a motorhome when we get back live in that for awhile.
