Guys, we are following you from day 1 at Campo, and you really made the right decisions, I’m sure about that👍 This year 2023 was an unexpected PCT year, lot’s of Snow, cold and now the wildfires. Sad, but that’s the PCT as Well😉 you made it as Brothers for approximately 2800 km, and made the right decisions, FLIP FLOP’s, your Health etc. I’m sure you will finish the PCT finally👍Thanks for all the video’s, the beautiful views, but also your thoughts, really appreciated!! You've been through some rough ordeals that far surpass a "normal" thru-hike year. Indeed, this year was extreme, and you did a great job. You were faced with numerous difficult decisions, and you made the difflcult and correct choices every time. I've been following slnce Campo. It's been a joy. Many, many thanks for bringing us along! Well done guys! It seems to me that you made the right decisions at the right times all the way through your journey. You have a unique ability to tell more than one story on one Channel, so when you go separate ways, I hope that you can share each story. I enjoyed this video especially because you were able to give the "talking heads" treatment at the end. I think that you will find the Northern Washington sections and The Sierras are equally stunning and well worth the effort and time. Here's to all of your future adventures.

Good decision! Your health is everything and the trail will be there for you when you come back! I started following you before you actually got on the trail when you did a practice hike or two in the Netherlands. You've gained so much experience with your PCT trek in this crazy, unusual year. My wife and I LOVED following your hike over the past six months! Just like you, we started our PCT thru-hike (attempt) in March (2020) and ended it in September in ... Packwood ... due to heavy smoke from wildfires (video on our channel). So, better than most people, we totally understand and support your decision to end your hike there. The funny thing is, we are seriously considering a return to Campo next spring (2024) to re-hike the PCT again!

In Ultra running we call it a DNF - Did Nothing Fatal. You made a great call, the rest of the trip would have been miserable at best.
