Cute view of the little Douglas's tree squirrel....I love those little guys I'd say "welcome to Washington State" except for the fact that I've lived the last 30 years in Orygun. I did, on the other hand, spend the first decade of my federal land management career working around Mt. St; Helens (both before and after the eruption) so the next couple of days of your journey will be a sort of reminiscence for me. Thank you for taking me along for the whole journey and this part in particular❤...

This is such a historic area where the Bonneville Landslide blocked the Columbia river over 500 years ago. It came down from the side of Table mountain.

Amazing views!!! I love sunrise and sunset pics, the color change effects are incredible!!!! That was a gigantic tree that went down, giving life to another tree. It is very very old! I noticed that and been following you both since the beginning!!! I live 70 miles west of tahoe and weve been having a LOT of above 100 , broken a lot of records as have you. Hopefully we'll have a bit cooler soon. Dont know how you manage to hike when its in the 90s and above!
