Pacific Electric Riderz, Skyline urban off-road adventure e-bike group ride. Rowland Heights.

I had a horrible start to this adventure; after finding my fork bearings loose, I had the front end off the night before the big ride, then when I went to load up my bike, the throttle stopped working, so I had to swap it when I got to the rideout location. After 15 minutes, I hit a big bump, and all the power shut off on the bike.

You can tell when Altis Sigma's are braking. That's the high pitch you are hearing. It took some time for pads to finally bed in order to eliminate that awful sound. It is such a fun bike. I still ride my stealth bomber. But the Altis is for shredding!

You need to buy a "Freak Mount" for your phone. It is a strong magnetic mount that will hold nicely to the top of your frame between the seat and the handlebars. They are a bit expensive but it works great and looks nice. Easy access for your phone, too.

You should have that controller zip tied in place. It shouldn't be moving inside of your panel. I believe there are two flat rods running underneath the top to allow for the controller to be secured with zip ties.

@edgurash834 yeah, I had my 150a controller mounted there, but the 200a is a few inches longer and hits the key switch. But I bought a 12v on/off to slim it down.

That's the drawback of a hub motor. its so quiet, you notice little squeek and rattle.

Honestly, its mostly my fault. I try to get away with the cheapest parts and the jankiest fixes. But that catches up with me. I've ordered a bracket to mount the controller, a better throttle with the right connector, and a new, better kickstand solution. I dont think these frames are made to withstand a dirtbike level of riding, but its all I can afford so I gotta make the best of it.

Are u always the only rear hub bike going on those mountain rides?

I've seen a few rides with an Onyx or Super73 but rarely do I see them twice. I think its just too demanding for a stock bike.

Did my ignition key on top and I think Kelly 7230s will work better smaller and will fit under the seat. Then on the other hand that 8k motor will over heat any battery .FYI that battery needs to be tied down
