Dude, I've owned this movie since release but didn't have a 4K HDR TV on deck, just an old 2015 Sony (4K,no HDR) 55X810c at the time. Just threw this on my Sony X900E with the best settings after many tweaks and gaw DAMN! This is the best 4K movie I've seen with Justice League not far behind. Definitely demo worthy to show off display and sound hands down.

I just watched this in 4k hdr and was amazed how much detail I couldn’t see on the bluray version. The eyes of the kaiju, i could read the text on the holographic displays, and just about everything had more detail.

Still probably the best showcase for HDR pop and colorful lightshowa. You'd have to be blind not to see it. Though it's left my top 10 over time to make room for UHD presentations that I value more for other reasons.

If you want true (native) 4K and 3D something from JVC or Sony would be perfect, but they’re not cheap. On the more affordable side Optoma and BenQ do a decent job of 3D I think - check some reviews. I have an Epson which handles 3D but it’s better at 2D stuff.

I got this movie on Blu Ray 3D version and it looks so good in 3D bro and haven't seen the 4K version for this movie but I do own it though on 4K and the second movie too and haven't seen the 2nd movie yet but I did see the original movie though back in (2013)

haven't seen anything come close to this movie in 4K yet. its like standing there in the scene. the image is so real that it almost looks too real sometimes. definitely wasn't prepared for how real an image could be with this one. almost silly when compared to badly filmed movies.

Victor Cruz Star Trek: Into Darkness is also reference quality. The first is carried because it is a good movie, but an average transfer. The third is good, but intentionally dark (low brightness), but has some good HDR moments... and Sophia Boutella!

Just get it on Itunes. 8 bucks and looks better than hdr 10 transfer. It will most likely have an atmos mix in the fall or you can just play it on vudu and get both DV and atmos.

Great another ref quality movie but the movie SUCKED and the 2nd one also. We have more movies that sucked but transfrs are great than great movies that Transfer are horriable.
