What I discovered is that when you layer Cinematic Studio Strings with Pacific, CSS really makes the dynamics more noticable and makes ff sections more powerful, while pacific gives that rich and thick orchestral string sound with a nice, warm feel to it. I've been layering them a lot lately and I'm liking the results so far.

You're right Pacific does really well at lower CC1, I try not to go over halfway. I am still working on dialing in the values on my template with them 🎶✌️

Fantastic mock-up. You really nailed that dark tone that you were going for. I think this is one of the best examples of Pacific strings usage that I've heard, too. They do this dark brooding mood very well with the boost you gave them for volume. Tristan and Isolde is criminally underplayed. I was fortunate enough to have gotten to play some selections from it when I was still in grade school, in an advanced youth orchestra.

hi! I see that you have in project PS legato A, B and C, D - what does it mean? In PS is only one type of legato...

They are four identical copies of the patch. I use separate tracks instead of trying to connect the midi data of regions manually. I enter 4-6 bars on A, then I enter 8 bars on B etc..
