Love the cows! My daughter raised a steer for 4-H last year named Norman. We loved him and his big kisses. His 1400 lb self got a little unruly for her to walk on a halter at the end. He had to have a full belly or there was no cooperation. You guys are so fortunate with your hay situation and having a portion of the year where you don't have to buy hay. I'm in Southern California in the high desert and we have to buy hay year round. Current price on a 100 lb bale of #1 alfalfa is about $18. Those big rounds don't exist here. Hope your sweet boy bounces back soon.

@@moriversoap ya, you'd think, huh? Ha Advancements have sort of taken a backseat in the last 20 yrs after the introduction of biologics for autoimmune treatment, but more def needs to be done, bcuz they're not the end all be all, as in my case. I'm also on a low dose chemo drug which is pretty barbaric, so the sooner they come up with new treatments the better 🤞🏻

Wow that is really cool! There aren't any dealers close by here though. Darn it! But maybe there is another version of it that we can look for. We do raise the beef for meat. We are able to give them happy lives and we know for our own purposes that they have eaten well and have been treated well and properly.

18:33 you’re telling the story of your dog, and I am an oncology nurse, so I don’t know who that vet who prescribed prednisone for the second time knowing that he was allergic and keep it on that treatment when we treat humans that are similar to pets in steroids related, we gave dexametasone, it’s the similar treatment but for those who don’t tolerate prednisone. And decametasone is also a good anti-inflamatory that don’t do lot of damage to the leaver, and opens the apetite and the thirsty, wich is what we want. Put the organs working so he gets straight to do is normal activities. Do bandaids on the open wounds, so it always be dry, to scar rapidly. With dexametasone we usually need to add analgesics to relief the pain, often here in Portugal we treat with buprenorphyne or OxyContin or fentanil in micrograms, so it don’t cause addiction. And he will live long lasting.

As I'm not able to stock all products at once, I do tend to have themed releases and remake popular products when I am able. This year has been a particularly hard year for us as our dog had several health issues that caused us to dedicate more time to him and keep him under supervision. We finally had a great release and right when that was done, we had to say goodbye to our dog. So for right now, we've had a little bit of time to rest and mend our hearts. Thank you! We do enjoy it here. We have a neighbor that tries to harass us every now and again 🙄 but otherwise it's quite delightful out in the country. If you give the cows names that are cuts of meat, supposedly one is supposed to remember that they are being raised for food...but that does not work for me. LOL T-Bones brother was Ribeye. That was my son feeding. 😀
