Try and curl the front pieces with a section of longer hair!! It helps them look like they frame the face but also mesh with the rest of the long length! This way they fall together instead of push in front of everything else :)

I think for your bangs I wouldn't curl them, and maybe have one layer at the upper jaw and a second layer chin-length? Also, I used to be like you re clothes and emotional attachments, but then I had a come to jesus talk with myself after college, and got VERY honest about my needs and got rid of a lot. I have one t-shirt from 6th grade, and one long-sleeve shirt from high school, and everything else I've gotten within the last decade. I don't allow myself more than two of any item in the same color. So like I have one zip up hoodie in grey and one over the head hoodie in navy blue and that's it.
