I just saw this video? I thought I had watched all of your video's...But I was wrong, happily so. Because this has inspired me to make a cover I had been thinking about, but was unsure how to incorporate some felt hand stitching on a cover. Kinda reminiscent to a penny stitch. You probably know what that is, but in case others don't know...it's a common Amish craft style of hand embroidery around circles of felt using different colors of felt and embroidery floss. I live in Ohio and we have a lot of Amish communities I have gotten to know so many because I boarded my horse in an Amish area for a few years. I saw a lot of hand made Amish quilts and crafts from all the fun home based shops in the Amish community. I hope I can pull it off. Thank you for the inspiration! :) (Sorry if TMI)

I love that idea!! I don't think I've ever seen a penny stitch style junk journal cover, that would be so cool! I used to live in Pennsylvania, and attended weekly auctions with the Amish, so I am very familiar! Thanks for sharing your idea and thoughts.

I love how the cover is both rustic and delicate at the same time. And the shades of brown & autumn colors are divine! Love all the hand stitches, it just makes it feel even more vintage. I have missed the pack rat & collectors! Beautiful work Nik!!

I love these junk journals and I really want to make one but I don’t understand how they are to be used. I am an artist and a writer and when I think of a journal I think of something that I can write in and I don’t understand how I can journal in a junk journal. She has an etsy store (sometimes she also sells on ebay I think?) but you have to be very quick as there are only a few items each times and they're all unique. Hope for you you're in the US otherwise it will be even more difficult to be there on time!

2 questions: 1, how do you get the tea stain paper so dark, it's frustrating to me. Do you have a video on it? 2, what do you do with junk journals when your thru producing them?
