Hi Joyce, this is all very good advice for foreign travellers to Canada. That was wonderful of BA to refund all your money for cancelled flight because some of the Canadian airlines were not so good about refunds. Just a note of caution to anyone bringing food. It is illegal to bring many kinds of food into Canada (just as it is in other countries). Before anyone brings food, especially fresh things from home they should check the rules very carefully. Otherwise at customs they will be asked and they may be charged with an offence. At the very least, the food will be taken and disposed of.
