Minimalist one-bag travel or carry-on bag is not impossible. It is about making our mind to accept this travel style. I’ve been going around the globe this way 😅 for a long time

@@arisamameda the most important thing for one-bag travel is know how to do your own laundry so that you carry less clothes and can travel for months. I have a video talking about washing laundry while going on nomad travel in Koh Lipe Thailand on my channel. Hope it gives some ideas for you 😊 I have many more tried and tested tips but never publish before in my KZbin channel and if you have any question please do not hesitate to share share with me.

My carry on is always between 6-7kg. I travel 6-8 months out of the year, for work and leisure. My women friends always tell me, “that’s because you’re a guy”, until I show them. So, now they travel with only a carry within the 7kg carry limit and a Fanny pack/sling bag, which is usually a 3kg limit. Clothes take most of the weight in your pack. You don’t need much, you’ll find out, you only use 1/3 of your clothes when you OVER PACKED. I’ve been a one bag traveler since 1987. It allows me to be more mobile and flexible when you only have a carry on, in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

@@miyagi1775 Wow! You’re a pro traveler!! 🙌 Every traveler has experienced overpacking the clothes for sure 😅 First time I left for traveling, I didn’t wear half of the clothes I brought and sent them all back home 😂
@miyagi17755 ай бұрын
@@arisamameda I know exactly what you’re talking about. Long ago, I used to bring 1 check in, 1 carry on and 1 personal item. I realized I wasn’t using 50-70% of what I brought, when I was an over packer traveler.

The word for that string is usually called "clothesline". Thanks for the lovely, helpful video! ❤

Heading to my first trip to Japan in 2 weeks and this was exactly what I needed! I really loved the idea of bringing your own laundry drying line - in all the videos I’ve watched for one bag carryon travel this was the first to mention this idea! Wish I could give it a double thumbs up just for how inspiring it is to see you filming and including those outtakes! Huge admiration for your willingness to master another language - it’s takes such courage to bravely record even in your native tongue! You are encouraging me to keep practicing, I still can barely speak a sentence in Japanese with confidence! +1 Subscribed! ❤

@@hello.christina Aww thank you so much for such kind words!! You just made my day 🥺🙏 Washing the clothes yourself is the biggest way to lighten your bags since clothes take up the most space, so laundry drying line comes in handy I found! 😊 Hope you have the best time in Japan, I’m super excited for you!! ☺️

@@arisamameda Yes, that's an important thing to consider. I see you're from Japan, I plan to visit Japan for two to three months during autumn next year. I'm thinking of traveling with a 40L backpack. Do you think I can survive autumn and early winter in Japan with 3 or 4 jumpers? 😅😂

What are the pants in your video? Would love to get some. They look nice and lightweight. Love the green one you're wearing also. Thanks!

@@missmichelle22 The black and orange ones are both from H&M. I love them because they’re thin and lightweight 😁 The green one is from Khaosan Road in Thailand. I bought the same ones in many colors because I love them so much 😆 More lightweight than H&M ones! There are many variation of colors sold and the best part is, it’s made of breathing material so it’s perfect for the hot weather! I’ve looked for the similar pants everywhere, but I haven’t found them. I’m getting some more when I’m in Thailand next time! 😂 haha
