Thank you for being willing to be vulnerable with us and share your experience as a newly hired train 737 go pilot I personally want to say for myself going through pilot training there is no need for you to apologize for not filming even away your fans and we love you know your content we understand that life is more important and we understand that the job you do and the training you do takes precedence over filming for anything so please please please do not apologize for not filming we understand thank you for explaining why you didn’t film because of the training and we get it you know I’ll always say this to every content creator that I follow. I don’t speak on the behalf of the fans, but I know I speak on behalf of myself that I get it. Life gets in the way your training your job comes first and stuff like that this is secondary so thank you for sharing and congratulations on your newly rated 737 type rating.

Actually, she is not a student pilot. She already became a flight instructor in 2019, and in 2021 she became an airline pilot and started to work for an airline. Now she has already worked for airlines about two years as an airline pilot. And now she moved to a new airline.

You need packing cubes for your luggage. After 25 years, it would be one of my top recommendations. They keep everything organized and neat and help reduce wrinkling. Any brand will work, and get multiple sizes for different items that you might pack. I have separate ones for uniform items, layover clothes, underclothes, workout shoes, etc. The side benefit, you will immediately know if you forgot to pack something because a bag will be missing. Best of luck, enjoy the SWA ride.

Welcome to the big leagues! I wonder how long it’ll take until you see your first CAT III approach. That HGS will save the day. Midwest through to the NE has been nasty LIFR conditions. Flew with a captain last month who’s been with my company for over 12 years and did his first ever CAT III autoland into MHT Manchester, NH. I hope you don’t have yours on IOE! Good luck! Congratulations on the 737 type rating! Yeah, Level D sims are great, for sure. I've used Jet Blue's 320 sims twice in Orlando, and it's funny when you go from a module right to your flight back home in the real world and the sounds and sensations are virtually identical. The sense of feeling the airstream shifts when you lower the gear and flaps, and also the ground contact when you're landing, or steering with the tiller. But that's why they cost more than a lot of aircraft 😆.

I will be going to flight school again this spring after having to take a year off. Do the airlines care if you have an MEI or would the CFII be good enough to get into with for the regionals then on to one of the legacy carriers? Keep up the good work! Thank you!! Yes, you can put in a bid to fly a specific aircraft! Getting awarded the bid is based on your seniority and if there are any vacancies needed to be filled by the airline

Cool. Funny/ amused because I’m DFW based. Yeah I hear that it’s partly Boeing philosophy, but 737 cockpit is pretty manual vs something like a 777 or 787 is where you get up to a glass cocktail display

Congratulations Sara! A huge accomplishment, one I remember almost as well as my first solo in a PA-28. My question for you is how your company integrates its pilots from the stage you just reached going forward? I have worked with two airlines and both were very different. The current company from your stage would be the employment as a second officer (obviously always being the third/extra with a Captain and F.O on every flight) My previous company did not have the second officer ranking and things were a bit different.
