El cheapo poncho, umbrella for rain/severe sun (trust me you'll need it), hat, flashlight, spare batteries, police whistle, and plastic bags (two of each quart/gallon Ziplocs, two conventional, and a leaf trash bag.) Also a pencil wrapped with four feet of duct tape, a small sewing kit, a spare towel (I had room service not supply towels one time), spare salt/sugar for when the food needs help, and (optional) a Mylar rescue blanket.

When I lived in Florida year round I was more used to the heat. But after moving to the Midwest it feels way hotter when I go back - especially in the summer! ☀️🥵 That’s why we went to Disney in June instead of July or August. But it was still super hot in June! Lol 😂 I think it’s just been a really hot year around the country.

It was SOOOO hot in Iowa the days leading up to when we left that it actually felt NICE in Orlando. I was like....what world is this? hahaha
