I'm a hardcore cheesehead from Germany, and I discovered you during the last preseason. I just want to say I love your content! You and Tom Grossi are my favorite KZbinrs. Thank you for everything!

@jusc179😆 Yes, this is a little part of the story. But it was a little bit of a longer tale. Around the year 2000, the NFL established NFL Europe, which was dissolved in 2007. At our school, we had a flag football training program with some of the coaches from Berlin Thunder, and I actively participated, learning the basic rules and tactics. Then, starting in 2005, I began watching the Super Bowl, which at the time was the only football game broadcasted on German TV. Before that, like most Germans, I primarily watched soccer.😅 And so I watched Super Bowl XLV and being impressed by Aaron Rodgers' playing style, as well as Tom Crabtree's 🤣. Upon discovering that the Green Bay Packers are the only team in the NFL owned by the fans rather than wealthy capitalists, ensuring the team will always stay in Green Bay, I became a Packers fan. As a side note, the Steelers also became my second favorite team. Around 2015, a German TV station began broadcasting two or three games per week, though it was often a matter of luck whether a Packers game was included. From 2018 onwards, I started watching games on American TV stations, allowing me to follow the entire Packers season (and the Steelers too). Since then, I've become increasingly invested in the sport, following everything from the draft to training camp and preseason. If I had more time, I'd love to get into college football as well, but 24 hours a day is sadly not enough for all of it...

Always look forward to these draft breakdowns. Could you please considered doing something similar with how some current packers are progressing. Would be particularly interested to see a breakdown on Rasheed Walker’s progress. Thanks for all the great work!

Nice to hear from another GB Packers fan from outside the US. A big hello and welcome to all you Packers fans from Germany!!! (and any other country). We Packers fans are very inclusive and are always happy when (new) people join the Packers family. The Dallas Cowboys claim to be America’s team (which they aren’t). But the Packers are the “World’s Team” !!!

Jordan Morgan is a 3-year starter at left tackle inside Arizona’s balanced run-pass split, zone-based run scheme with 37 career starts (all at left tackle). Jordan Morgan has good bulk and thickness and very good play strength. Jordan Morgan times the snap well in the run game with good initial quickness out of his stance to get into his fits and hit his stance to get into his fits and hit his landmarks on time on zone cutoffs, scoops and combo blocks, with the burst to be a plus move-tackler on screens, climbs and pulls. Jordan Morgan has very good play strength with heavy hands to jolt defenders on contact, cave them in and create lateral displacement on angle-drive blocks (kick-outs, down blocks). In pass protection, Jordan Morgan’s size and strength are an asset on play-action, flat and jump sets when he can get his hands on rushers early, tying them up and ending reps quickly. Jordan Morgan can function on an island when he is on time with his set points and his strike timing lands just right, but the variance goes way up against wide rush alignments and high-side rushes. Jordan Morgan’s mediocre range leads him opening his hips early, creating a soft inside shoulder and clean losses across his face. Overall, Jordan Morgan has the frame, build, play strength, and physicality to make a smooth transition inside to guard, with the initial quickness and burst to be a high-quality run-blocker. Jordan Morgan’s questionable range range and middling redirect skills will be difficult to overcome on an island against NFL edge-rushers, but he could make it work inside a run-first, play-action based scheme that limits those exposures. Jordan Morgan’s Grade is 7.5 (Potential Impactful Player -2nd Round), his Overall Rank is 35, his Height is 6’5”, his Weight is 311, his Hands are 10 1/2”, his Arms are 32 7/8”, his Wingspans are 8 1/4”, his 40-yard Dash is 5.04, his Vertical is 28”, his Broad is 28”, and his Pro Football Comparison is to Matthew Bergeron. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Forget the arm length. Once Steno and Butkus teach him how to “hold” with those big hands and use his quick feet, he’ll become an All Pro by year 2.

I don't get the arm length thing. His arms are only an inch shorter than baks. Bak did just fine, Morgan will be good at LT.

Really love these player updates Andy! Morgan is a player I’ve wanted in green and gold for a couple years and I’m stoked we have him. My main takeaway from your analysis is that he has the intangibles, most of his opportunities are areas that good coaching and experience/time can fix, if he puts in the work. On the brightest of bright sides: he sounds like the kind of kid that will out-work everyone

I watched Morgan his entire football career (including high school). People really don’t know how good he’s going to be, and his arms are the SAME size as Barton who everyone seemed to want.

Your point about Gary is an interesting one. I agree that tape requires close viewing to understand what’s going on specific contexts when scouting a player, but I can’t help but feel like your initial impressions are rooted in correct assessments. Taking an edge rusher with the 12th pick in a draft comes with some pretty lofty expectations, and I don’t think Gary has played up to them. He’s, what, the 25th best edge in the league? Fine, but ultimately not a game changer. hoping Morgan develops more than Gary has

I will have so much confidence in him if he starts at LT week 1. Rasheed walker finished the season playing really good football and if Morgan beats him out in camp we have a solid LT at least and potentially a lot more

His arms do look super short maybe it just the thumbnail or his body shape but i know his measurements aren't THAT short but for whatever reason i see t rex arms. That being said, i think he will be a good player for us. Seems to have a big desire to always grow, and he has Steno in his ear now ? He shall thrive

If short arms prevent him from being a high-end LT, but he manages to be a quality player at one of the 4 other spots, I don't think anyone will be calling him a bust being picked at 25th overall. Elite LTs don't grow on trees.
