Im willing to give the Packers defense a little grace for allowing the Jags to come back after falling behind by 10. Jaxonville was 2-5 coming into this game and they all know the season is probably over if they lose here today. This seemed more like Trevor Lawrence pulling out all the stops, refusing to lay down and give up. He made some great throws to keep the Jags afloat in this game. So sure, Green Bay's defense probably should have come up with a stop there, but I do think this is one of those times where you can tip your cap to the opposing team.

@@voldemort008 Trevor Lawrence was the first overall pick a few years ago for a reason. There is still a great QB in there somewhere even if he doesn't show up all the time. We had a 10 point lead, we got a little too comfortable and the Jags saw their whole season flash before their eyes and did everything they could to save it. The other guys get paid too. Also the touchdown pass was so weird. Nixon is outmatched and JA clearly got hurt while trying to contest the ball. McKinney was kind of in the area but wasn't in position to make a play on the ball. Winning on the road is never easy, no matter who the opponent is, and the difficulty of the task only multiples when a team’s starting quarterback goes down to injury. The Green Bay Packers lost Jordan Love early in the 2nd half, but Matt Lafluer’s team made enough plays, even after blowing 2 leads to escape the Jacksonville Jaguars with a hard-fought 30-27 win at Jacksonville. After Jordan Love went out, Josh Jacobs scored a 38-yard touchdown, the Green Bay Packers defense set up another touchdown and Malik Willis and Jayden Reed set up the game-winning field goal with a 51-yard connection late. Where would the Green Bay Packers be without Malik Willis? Probably not 6-2. After losing in Brazil to open the season, the Green Bay Packers have won 6 out of the last 7 games, including 3 wins featuring big contributions from Malik Willis. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Brock Purdue has an all star cast on offense so it makes it easier and a great defense. But he did great by following the system and the reads in order and taking the first guy that’s open. Love finally started playing lights out last year when he figured that out and the receivers got their timing down. This year Love is still playing in the system but he has more freedom to make plays. But he should learn to go back to the system. Same with Rodgers and Malik. When Rodgers actually stuck to the system he came back to glory after 2 down years. As soon as he started changing plays and doing what he wanted the offense fell apart. Malik is an average QB who plays the system and he’s more efficient than love per play or per game. When you have real talent and they stick to the system it’s so much better. But if you let your guy take control it can fall apart real quick. Love isn’t experience enough to take over. At least Rodgers understood the defenses and had more football IQ.

Similar to last week, he refuses to stick to the run when 10 is in the game. JAX had zero answers for our inside run, Jacobs was eating all day. But Leflure would simply not commit to running, even when we all seen 10 struggling to put weight on the left leg. But to no surprise , when Malik went in, oh well now let’s run the ball and guess what? We dominated. @@kreed4480 - I think the defense was out there too much and Bullard was getting burned on that last TD drive by Lawrence to tie the game. I actually fault LaFleur, after the Jags drove and got a FG to pull within 27-20, for being too conservative with Malik and playing not to loose late in the game by just running Jacobs into the line for minimal yardage and then punting away to the Jags right away. He did not let Malik throw enough to keep the offense moving the chains there when the Jags stacked the box to stop Jacobs when they had to. Check out that second to the last Packer drive up 7. LaFluer played it too conservative with just running and put his defense right back out there with little rest. They could have been more aggressive with Malik throwing on that drive and let the offense seal the 7 point lead and game rather than going three and out and punting there.
