Super Mario 64 100% Walkthrough Part 10 - Snowman's Land

I discovered this level when I first had beaten Bowser with 70 stars. I heard about a level called Snowman's Land and besides you can see the level during end credits. I checked the high score from options and there was the level's name. I was like "where could that level be"? Then I remembered there was this mirror room in the Princess' Castle with nothing. I thought why would the game developers make an area with absolutely nothing in it. My Dad was watching me play and I told him about this mirror room. I did not hesitate and I went to the mirror room and started to look around. Soon I saw this painting in the mirror, but it appeared to be just a normal wall. I said "Look Dad, there is a reflection of a snow painting!" I jumped into the wall and there it was. A great memory!

Shout-out to my mom, who, sometime in 1998, taught me to play this game. It was my first video game ever, so I didn't understand the Mario formula yet. Mom even started her own save file, although she eventually stopped at this level with around 50 stars. Whenever I replay this game and get to Snowman's Land, I always think of her.

If your stuck on the first star when you get to the penguin and the penguin is at the start do a backflip and you can land on its head and ride the penguin to the other side

I first played Super Mario 64 DS when I was 8. And the first time I beat the game, I got 94 stars. And I only got stars in the first nine courses of the game. As well as some of the secret stars. When I first played Snowman’s Land, I knew you could take damage by touching the freezing water underneath the chilly bully. But since I was little, I thought it was blue lava.

I would put the baby penguin and building a snowman in this level. Also make the giant snowman a boss. Remove Chief Chilly, the bully enemies creative at this point. Make the deep freeze bigger. Remove the freezing pond it’s not creative. This should also be I don’t know, course 4?

Koopa Khannel Technically you are correct, but "by the by" is such an extremely uncommon phrase when compared to "by the way", so it's understandable that most people would consider it a typo. It was also changed to "by the way" in the DS version.
