Poori Urulaikkizhangu, as we say in Tamizh, has always been our favourite rail time food. Train travel in itself, was something we looked forward to Adding to the delight was the food we took from home. Waiting for the co passengers to start their eating, unpacking our items, having it in small plates, sometimes two of us sharing in the same plate, etc... are still very much in our memories. And Poori urulaikkizhangu is still the much preferred for train travel..... We thoroughly enjoyed watching the video. Hoping to get such an experience soon, for ourselves too....

Even my husband and my kid like poori urulaikizhanhu. But if they dare to ask for the train journey then I would break the house. I don't know why, train journey gives me panic attack even before 24 hrs. I would be in complete 😤 mood!!! I wonder how come our moms were super cool in handling all the situations!!!

Aloo sandwiches or sandwiches stuffed with grated carrot, onion and tomato sabji or a stuffing of onion, capsicum and tomatoes with a sprinkling of cheese is light and tasty. Try it. We've taken in along tons of times and enjoyed every time. Poori sabji or roti sabji will keep you fuller for a longer time though.
