Hi there. Yes, I think it would be great. I will do my best to add english subtitles. But don't judge my english please. 🫣 In case that you can't wait until I have created the subtitles - I need to revise the german subtitles first - this video show you how to create an OS Image for Proxmox with Packer. You need Packer installed on your local machine and you need an access token to your Proxmox cluster as well. Packer is downloading the ISO Image file to your local machine and then creating a connection to your Proxmox cluster (especially to a single node), then will upload the ISO Image to the node, creates a virtual machine and starts the installation procedure of the virtual machine. In my case, I use Cloud Init to 'pre-configure' the virtual machine (installs the SSH server, adds a new user and so on). After that (in the build block of the pkr-file) the provisioner will run to prepare the virtual machine to create a Proxmox template. This template can be used to create new virtual machines within your Promox cluster. It's important, that each Proxmox template has it's own Cloud Init image you should use and update manually in Proxmox. In this video I'll show you a basic example to create those Proxmox templates and have one 'code like' starting point for your next projects which can be easily customised. Feel free to play around with these things. All configurations you see in the pkr-file are also documented at developer.hashicorp.com/packer/integrations/hashicorp/proxmox/latest/components/builder/iso I hope this video helps you, even without subtitles 🤣

@@noviankristianto1060 I've added the english subtitles 🥳 .... ehm yes ... Honestly ehm - KZbin added them for me 🤪 But I think they are OK. That's the first time for me to add subtitles and english subtitles as well. If you have some problems with the video, add a comment and I'll help you out.
