Jake Moody, the 49ers kicker, has been good, he's 85% on Field Goals this year, which ranks middle of the pack (NFL kickers have gotten so good). The key thing about Moody is that he's attempted the second most extra points in the league, behind only the Dolphin's kicker. Jake Moody has been good on kick-offs, and made 85% of his kicks, but he hasn't attempted a field goal in two weeks because his offense is scoring touchdowns, and trotting him out there to kick extra points, not field goals.

You cant fairly bring up officiating last week vs the Packers because officials gave the Chiefs 15 yds for a legal hit on Mahomes who was clearly inbounds. Had it been a Bills player offsides and Mahomes thrown an interception that got called back no one would complain, just like they didnt complain about a fumble recovered by the Patriots late in the 4th quarter of the AFC Championship that would've given the Patriots the ball at the Chiefs 30 yd line, but made a massive stink about DeeFord who WAS offsides and about the overtime rules.

The thing Nick misses about Purdy is just how good some of the throws are. Purdy hits guys in stride outside the numbers a lot, meanwhile we had to watch Lamar consistently leave those throws short on Sunday. More telling is his ability to make and complete throws for TDs that Shanahan and his system would call a “bad read.” Does he have room to grow? Sure, he’s barely played enough games to not be considered a rookie anymore. But to act like he’s not a difference maker? Jimmy completes one more throw, you know the one I’m talking about, Mahomes doesn’t win that Super Bowl. Thinking Purdy couldn’t have made that throw is absurd.
