Bak played the best pass rushers in the league and they were helpless and silent against him. His technique and feet were so sound, you could make a training tape of how to play LT. If he's not injured on New Years eve they may have won 2 Super Bowls. I truly believe they win one. It's a sad ending to an amazing career. Playing on one leg and still dominated the Bears the flip off to the fans is a fitting goodbye to such a great Packer HOF player. He will be missed. Hope he gets to get back on the field soon.

Aaron Jones was one of my favorite Packers ever. Saying that, Aaron Jones never led the league in rushing. The ceiling of Josh Jacobs, is higher than Aaron Jones. That paired with Jones 3 major injuries this year, his injury history that past few years, & his age for a RB. Releasing him, & signing Jacobs was the right football move. This guy hurts my brain, when I listen to him talk about Jones.

Taking the next step will mean continuing the process made by the offense during the course of the season and getting appreciably better on defense. I like the overall talent at our WR and TE core. It was great to see the potential of Matt Lafluer’s offense and the wide open looks it was creating. Hopefully they solidify the offensive line and they do a better job of bringing the heat and stopping the run on defense. That will be the recipe to add 3 more wins and take the next step. The best part is the majority of our receivers are good. Their YAC yards are great and the other teams defense really don’t know who to cover. No surprise to me I see the potential and all the weapons at Jordan Loves disposal. That’s the real reason our season turned around the 2nd half of last season. I can’t wait for the 2024-25 NFL season to start. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

I'd love to see JPJ at #25, he can be a starter day one at C or RG. He'll probably be gone anyway. DeJean and E. Cooper would round out the defense perfectly. Get the linemen on day 3 like they did with Tom and Walker. DeJean could play slot, box and outside CB in a pinch, also punt returner. I don't like risking Reed on punts anymore.

nobody in the NL would rank Jones over Jacobs unless they are just going by the last5 games, because AJ Dillon had to play more because Jones is not as much as a bigger back.

@@derekhurst9596 Hes saying Jacobs is better and more of a workhorse. With Jacobs, Dillon wont be on the field as much which should make the offense better.

Jones was a great player and person. Jacobs is the better player though at this point in their careers. Jordy being released hurt me more than any Packer ever.

self-scout needed if 16 defensive players were drafted in the 1st and the defensive talent is what it is. GB seems to have a formula that works for offense but they should go back to the lab on their defensive evaluations.

To be fair, how many of those 1st round picks were late in the 1st round cuz the team is always good? Most were basically 2nd round players. Nearly all of them were in the 20s besides Gary, Jaire, and Van Ness who were all in the teens. Its not like having a bunch of top 10 picks like the 49ers do. At one point, they had 4 top-10 picks starting on their d-line. Packers have none. Packers also dont have a Nick Bosa, whos the best defensive player in football. Theres only so many of those guys to go around. Unfortunately, Packers have been victims of their own success in that regard cuz theyre never in a position to draft guys like that. Doesnt matter what scheme you run if you dont have the horses.

i love Aaron Jones but the odds of a 30 year old running back coming off of an injury plagued season bouncing back and playing a full season are very slim

Josh is a better back. Look at his stats in five seasons with no QB compared to Aarons in seven with a top tier QB

It is a coin flip. Can't have Dillon as back up though he's not good enough. If its not Wilson they have to draft a guy.
@williamhermann6635
@williamhermann6635 2 ай бұрын
Its not that Dillon is bad. He has his roles. But Jones and Jacobs both are substantially better. Dillon is best used in specific situations like 3rd down pass blocking or spell carries here and there. Jones required the team use Dillon more because hes not a workhorse and was hurt so often. Jacobs is a workhorse so Dillon will be able to stick to his roles. That being said, I think its a no-brainer they still draft a running back too but thats not an indictment of Dillon. Lafleur has always used multiple running backs for different roles so they need a healthy supply.

I’d trade next year‘s one and two this year‘s third rounds, this year‘s second rounds and do all the maneuvering I could to get Barton and the next two best offensive lineman. This will solidify our offensive line for the next 10 years, who cares about next year‘s first and second when you can actually draft them this yearand they’ll be ready next year or partway through this year. The smart play…get your 3 guys now. Besides, GB is better at signing FA defensive players than drafting them.
