This team has SO much depth, talent and potential! Gute has done a PHENOMENAL job building this team especially post Rodgers. This team has Super Bowl written all over them! Our offense was on FIRE the second half of last season. Hopefully Hafley can turn our defense around and make them FEARED by the league!

If the first 3 picks can ball out, the team receives meaningful contributions for 2 more draft picks, and the special teams are solid, on paper I'm excited for what this team can accomplish this season. GPG

I think Dillon makes RB3. Less carries in the year, so he will be healthy for the cold late season in case one of the others gets hurt. Good blocker too.

I would not be surprised to see DuBose make a big push this year. He's big, tough, mean, has good hands, and fights for the ball. Last year might have been his first year of real coaching. We'll see, but I love everything I've seen so far. That one catch vs. NE last summer!

Great show today & excellent point saying a strength who’s having no glaring holes (especially compared to last year’s questions) Having concerns over the O line seems fool hardy tho my friend … in the NFL there’s very rarely certainty at every spot This is a deep experienced group for the most part but more than anything The Packers have an absolutely absurd, success rate developing them. They shouldn’t only get the benefit of doubt, but it shouldn’t even be questioned at this point otherwise.

@BrianClaycomb6 ай бұрын
WR Julian Hicks appears to be this years rumored UDFA that hasn't signed and is likely just a tryout player. The roster currently stands at 41 players on offense, 44 on defense and 6 special teams. I'm assuming that Kenneth Odumegwu must still receive a roster exemption as an international pathway player since 91 players are rostered. I think Dillon is likely RB3 and if Lloyd proves adequate in pass protection I hope MLF can find a way to fine tune Dillon's role to play to his strengths. If Lloyd can't be trusted in pass pro early on I think fans will be frustrated with the amount of snaps Dillon is still getting. Emmanuel Wilson could still become a contributor but the amount of praise showered on him by some fans would leave you thinking he churned out 1000 yards instead of 108. I hope TE Tyler Davis makes the roster. The TE and LB positions value on special teams will only increase with the new kickoff return rules favoring their bigger body type. The OL in my opinion is the biggest unknown due to questions about both the starting lineup as well as who fills out the depth. Those roster spots will be an intriguing battle that I struggle to predict and I wouldn't be surprised if Gute was able to flip a depth player in a trade like he did with Cole Van Lanen. I'm hopeful that both Clifford and Pratt stick around one way or another. It may sound crazy but if Heath, DuBose or Toure don't distinguish themselves for WR6 the Packers could go light at that position to make room elsewhere and stock their practice squad instead as nearly every team has bottom of the roster WRs they like. The Packers last carried only 5 WRs on the initial roster back in 2020 with household names Darrius Shepherd and Malik Taylor making up WR4 & WR5. DL depth is fine if all 5 roster locks are healthy but Jonathan Ford seems like a poor scheme fit and it's unknown if the UDFAs are even roster able talent so the lack of depth has the potential to become a problem. Enagbare's health will be key to the DE position and while the news was encouraging it was also very vague and seemed rather uncertain. I'm higher on Robert Rochell than most. I thought he really popped on special teams and think the new scheme and offseason will benefit him on defense. He is such an impressive athlete with his long arms and explosiveness (43"VJ) but he's in for a battle and may need to begin the season on the practice squad. The Packers have options at NB this season after leaving me questioning if they even had a backup for Nixon last year. I still expect Nixon to at least begin the season as the primary NB with Bullard the starting safety but it's good to know they have options and competition. I'm cautiously optimistic on Eric Stokes having a bounce back season even though many have written him off. Great reference table on initial 53 man roster construction under Gute/MLF that I stole POS 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 AVG QB 2 3 2 2 2 2.2 RB 4 4 3 2 3 3.2 WR 6 5 6 7 6 6 TE 4 4 4 4 3 3.8 OL 9 9 9 10 11 9.6 DL 6 5 6 6 6 5.8 ED 4 5 5 5 6 5 LB 4 4 5 4 5 4.4 CB 7 6 6 5 4 5.6 S 4 5 4 5 5 4.6 ST 3 3 3 3 2 2.8

Would a better rank of the ceiling and floor be as an entire room instead of individual players? I think winning teams have winning rooms and winning team members and not just the production of individual players. Packers are a winning team because of the sum of the entire team.

trade one of those wr if a team needs one during OTA, preseason, and mini camp.

@@kreed4480 Miami have noone at RG at the moment, the Jets OLine turn to dust in a light breeze: any team who gets an injury in preseason will see a player with 24 starts for GB, whose OLine is normally better than theirs. There is also the unlikely option that in a contract year he comes back and plays better?
@kreed44806 ай бұрын
@@ChrisSmith-tr4lg all I’m saying is Newman is the bottom tier player on our OL and I can’t imagine another team will be willing to offer any sort of future draft capital on a player who is very likely to be cut during this offseason
@ChrisSmith-tr4lg6 ай бұрын
@@kreed4480I get your point, and you are very probably right. There is always hope though- Oline is a precious commodity. Some teams do not value late picks very high, and would rather give one up than risk losing a player on the waiver wire.

@shawng48866 ай бұрын
Not really. He never fumbles, he’s one of the best pass blocking RBs in the league, and he’s got great hands for a guy his size. Has his production in the last couple seasons been mediocre as a RB? Yes. Doesn’t mean he can’t contribute. He’s great in other areas that are honestly important to how the Packers run their offense.
