Truly didn't see this one coming. Good RPO option, and only to give up a 7th rounder to someone who was thought to go as high as a first rounder (Kenny Pickett was the only 1st rounder taken at quarterback that year) is a good deal. Now, let's address the kicking situation.

As a colts fan; he is good but i would not get my hopes up. His main issues is staying healthy. Great teammate all around; I seen him a couple of times in the season; hopefully he can turn around his career in green bay. One thing I notice about Willis; he is really good at scrambling. I still dont understand why you wouldn't sign Ryan Tannhill- as your back up then use a draft pick on a backup QB. In my opinion that would have been the best option. Not very excited for the Willis trade. He never looked that great in college. More of an athlete playing QB than an athletic QB. Willis played at liberty university. Not too many pros come out of that school, He didn't do much as a rookie which isn't surprising. He's kind of short for a QB. He has to take extra steps back to see down the field and is more inclined to take off and run. The Pack only spent a 7th round pick on the trade. The Pack can easily cut a 7th rounder after preseason. Not sure if the Pack traded for Willis to be a developmental prospect or to be the backup.
