I echo the other comments, very good/instructional video. Very good level of detail; well done. I've been doing Winlink over HF for years, but now I want to test with the messages going out over VHF via Packet (if I can find a RF gateway -- maybe a tall task for where i live). Thank you for this. I'd be happy to see more Amateur Radio instructional videos from you. Very much appreciated.

Great instructional video. Which USB to DIN cable are you using to connect to the computer? Is it RT Systems or a generic Amazon brand? I just picked up a D710G and I bought it for the same WinLink purpose. Thank you.

Our EmComm group purchased this radio in 2018 or 2019 and I no longer have the paperwork for the purchase. My recollection is that we purchased the cable from Kenwood at the same time we ordered the radio(s)...we bought 2 radios. Kenwood has good phone support...maybe check with them [phone]. As you saw in the video at time 4:20 or so, it's important to connect to the back side of the Head Operating Unit...not the body of the base radio. When calling Kenwood, make that explicit. 73.
