Great video!! I’m not a huge traveler..but with 4 kids, when we do we prepare. I truly appreciate your recommendations. The only thing that I want to point out is that the Pb and j sandwiches are great, but as a mom of a mom to a child with anaphylactic allergy to peanuts, it can be challenging, especially to those who have an airborne allergy. I would never want anything to happen to anyone, especially in the air. Have a great trip!!

Frequent flyer with kids your ages. I would avoid the small pieced puzzles/toysets, if they fall on the floor it’s next to impossible to find them! But otherwise it looks like you’re well prepared :)

Great video! For my personal preference I feel for traveling for so long it is much easier to buy most of the toiletries at the destination. For example just get shampoo, toothpaste, shower gels at the final stop, share all between everyone in the room/house - the items would probably be used up by the end of the trip. And then it saves much more space for clothing.

Hi Jennifer! It looks like you guys are all set! I hope you have a wonderful time. Just keep in mind that the Heathrow airport is super strict on your liquids. They will want everything to fit into one of their plastic bags. You will have to remove it from your bathroom bag to theirs. I believe this also includes makeup items like foundation. It really surprised me when I went so I hope sharing this is helpful and makes the airport less hectic for you!

As someone who lives in London and has lived here my whole life, it definitely rains a lot but it’s not so much how MUCH it rains but moreso that it’s hard to predict when it will rain- sometimes it’s torrential rain for 10 minutes out of nowhere and then bright sunshine so it’s hard to tell. It’s also very humid in London because there’s so many buildings and people so light layers are the best

Do not underestimate the size and how long it takes to travel around the UK, we may be small but everything is close together and built up in cities! Hope you have a fab time over here and I would love to see an English lunch special when you are back!

Have a fabulous time in my home country! If you're looking to restock on snacks and toys for the gang, look for Home Bargains, Poundland, B&N bargains or a proper supermarket! They will absolutely overcharge you in the 'tourist' shops. For any kind of pharmacy or toiletries or a bottle of soda/water on the go, try Boots, Superdrug or Savers. ♥️ If you make it up to Scotland, see if you can find a haggis! They're very cute!

Please stay safe and have patience. HRH Queen Elizabeth II passed last week. Her funeral will be during the time you and your family are in London and Scotland. Check with tourist agencies there as to times of closing and opening. They can also recommend sites to see.

My experience with Virgin flights has been pretty good. Lots of entertainment options and the meals were decent, salads fresh and good snacks. Once you're there, Evensong at Westminster Abbey is wonderful and free. May not be open until after the Queen's funeral. Be prepared for a lot of things to be closed, but at the same time it's very educational to be somewhere when history is happening right before your eyes. London Transport Museum for Griffin is a must see. There are many stone circles in Scotland that are more accessible than Stonehenge. Also lots of castles and gardens. Rabbie's is a great tour company especially for Scotland. They do small bus tours and also you have a large enough group you could probably design a custom tour for you. Hi Jennifer, I stay in Scotland. Here are a few places my kids like to go: Museum of Flight near Edinburgh (has a Concorde plus some other planes and interactive exhibits), Scone Palace near Perth, St Andrews, Scotlands Secret Bunker (near St Andrews, good for a rainy day), Maid of the Forth boat trip (sets sail from beside the forth rail bridge), The Royal Yacht Britannia (in Edinburgh). Due to the sudden Death of the queen London will be seething till after the funeral so I wouldn’t go to the palace near Oxford street or Westminster& queues will be down to tower bridge area. Unless you are join the queue to see her lying in state. Some fun things to do in uk is 1. you can get bus from Euston station london to Watford Junction and then get a special Harry Potter bus to the Harry Potter studio tour. 2. Any national trust site OR if you like looking round ruins any English Heritage site. 3. Watch a musical in London (I can highly recommend wicked), 4. Go fossil hunting on the Jurassic coast, 5. visits the Roman baths in bath, 6. Visit any of the museums. Some good ones include British museum or (right next to each other) the natural history museum & science museum or the national railway museum in York. 7. Hampton court palace (or any of the palaces open to the public).8. Kew Gardens or the lost gardens of heligan. 9. Beamish open air museum (re-creates life in England in the 1800’s to 1900’s), 10. Visit any of the castles in uk open to the public.

In the UK we can only pack 10 items of liquid in the carry on bag. You will be arriving at a sad time too, if you didnt know our beloved Queen had died. Hope you enjoy your travelling... the weather atm is wet! still ok temperature wise. Good travelling..

Airports in N. Europe are chaos now. Have fresh pair of underwear and toothbrushes in your hand luggage. Tag all suitcases with adress where they should be delivered too. I just had guests and I am also getting news about situation. Last one was today. Be prepaired.

I would recommend visiting the Lake District, Cornwall and North Wales/Anglesey. We've been to these places, and they have stunning scenery. I'd also suggest a visit to the West Midlands (Birmingham, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton). The West Midlands is not a tourist area, but it'll give you a different perspective of England rather than the normal 'touristy' areas that most overseas visitors go to.

Those liquid bags are too big for UK airports , mainly for when you leave. You're only allowed up to a 20 by 20 zip lock

PS.. don't stay in London all the time, it is very expensive. You need to explore Bath, Gloucester, Oxford,Bristol Stonehenge.... Eden Project in Cornwall the children will love. Monkey World in Dorset too.... The list is endless...

I also do the assigned colors! My oldest is green and my youngest is blue. For EVERYTHING! Toothbrushes, loofas, backpacks, water bottles, tablet cases, lunch kits.. everything. This way there can be no fights and no mixups. We always know who’s is who and where something belongs. It makes things SO much easier. I can’t stand to hear petty arguments so I eliminated the chance for many of them!

In London We love south bank. The London eye, shrek adventures, the aquarium and watching all of the entertainers. Makes for a great day out. So impressed with your packing I think I will have to try your ideas next time we go away! X
