1:00 Kitchenware (better to watch video) 9:06 Stationary (high-quality things, mainly folders, erasers etc.) (bring a lot of reusable masks) 11:26 Bathroom stuff (bring only travel-size things, get loofas, combs, grooming products 13:25 Electronics (buy the phone and laptop from Canada) (better to buy straighteners, blow dryers, heating pad from Canada) (bring from the country- power bank of a minimum of 20k mAH, international adaptors 3 or more, extension cord/plugs that suit American or Canadian style of an adaptor) 16:25 Bedding (bring- 3/4 good quality bedding) 17:40 Medicines (everything you can/need to bring, get prescriptions from doctor for your specific meds, get specs/lens, first aid kit)(sewing kit, screwdriver set small) 20:41 Bags (laptop bag/backpack, gym bag etc.) 22:12 Clothing ((((formal suit 2 ( for girls, I'd personally recommend, 2 formal blazers and formal pants too), white shirt 2 (black too in my opinion for girls), plain black jeans/trousers 2, plain blue jeans, plain black and white t-shirts- 2 each, as many undergarments as possible, good hoodies and sweatshirts 4 or 5, buy winter jackets from Canada, bring normal coats or jackets from Canada but not too many or too expensive, buy thermals from Canada, muffler/scarf 2 or 3, ear protection cap 1, woolen gloves if u find get 1 pair or buy here, socks as many as you can, formal socks 2 or 3, informal t-shirts/jeans/pants of good quality according to need, traditional wear 1 or 2 pair (i personally would recommend 3 for women), towel sets, sweaters is your choice)))) 33:24 Footwear ((traditional shoes 1 or 2, sports shoes (better from Canada but your choice), snow shoes (buy from Canada), sneakers (walking appropriate always), sliders/chappals 2, shoe shiners (1 or 2) )) 36:28 watches (if you have existing watches then change the cells and bring it to Canada, no need to buy) Thank me later guys

I moved to Canada in the mid 2000's. I had moved with a carry on luggage and backup (for my laptops and documents). I just bought enough clothes and cosmetics for a few weeks. Canada was the third country I had moved to in 5 years. With enough experience, I had learnt to travel light and buy the things you need at your destination. Yes, even though I am of Indian background, I follow a Mediterranean diet, so food wise , I didn't need a lot of masalas . I do feel bad seeing international students traveling with two full size luggages and a carry on and a backpack . Everytime I just ask myself, why do people do this to themselves 😬
