Hey, I'm Canadian and it's not always freezing...lol but when I went in April for my first time I wore a light sweater and leggings. It was warmer than home (NS) but on the cooler side for FL! :) We also rent through VRBO every year and stay off site. I find that renting a house is much more manageable for us since we go for 3 weeks.

Girl, on the prairies we were freezing. We were -35 for over a week not including the windchill. Lol I'll have to research some places

It’s fairly warm in April! Should be in 70s to 80s the whole time! I went last April and it was nice! I would bring a jacket or leggings for cooler evenings but during the day you should be fine with short sleeves. I typically stay onsite but I have a friend that loves using AirBNB and there are a ton of great ones in Orlando/Kissimmee you could check out!
