Packing For My First Cruise!!!🚢 🚢🚢🚢

In this video I am packing all the things I need for my cruise. After watching various KZbin videos I ordered different items from Amazon that different ones suggested.

I would like to thank everyone for all the helpful comments ..I did order the toilet seat covers , disposable sheets and bed bug spray !!! Yall are soo helpful , but yall making me second guess my trip ..gonna make sure I scrub that room down like I do after a guest uses your bathroom 😂😂😂😂

Hey Supportive Mom... you ready! I have never seen them weigh a bag at the port, you should be fine. Bring liquid hand soap for your cabin ,a sweater , the ship can be cold sometimes. Disposable toilet seat liners(Amazon) to use while you are off the ship, pack a mini toiletry bag(medicines, band-aids, sunscreen, Lysol, sanitizer, wipes,) or put in a zip lock bag to add to your beach bag. You may need the items in port or at the beach. Add a water bottle(one that stays cold for hours) - fill it with ice just as you get off the ship- you have cold water with you while you are sight seeing. Print all documents(I'm old school, I'm not relying on that phone, lol), keep them with you at embarkation as well as your passport. Bring an extra phone charger, there may not be an outlet near the bed- maybe get a 10 ft. cord. but more importantly! HAVE FUN!

I'll add to your list a power strip, tide pods and a dirty laundry bag. They have washer and dryer on ship. I took my own candy and chips. Rip off at gift shop.

Hey Supportive Mom,I hope you enjoy your first cruise. Do not forget your shower cap, pack a small umbrella, pick up some aloe vera gel for after the sun, I use the Walgreen's brand. Do not be afraid to try new food which you experience in the dining room, use room service on one of the sea days for breakfast, carry some ones for when you take pics with the locals. I always make a fruit bowl at breakfast to have in the cabin (apples, bananas, etc).

And don’t feel bad when grand son wants to stay in the kids area. They are fabulous. Most ships give the kids a time limit because they would stay all day. Some are 2 hours then they can go back later.

You are having me remembering my 1st cruise. If you are carrying drinks on the trip you won’t need a drink package. You don’t drink hard drinks. You have your pop with you. 0:58 🎉 I would order water for the room. You can get hot/ cold tea at the buffet. Fruit juice and hot coffer. They don’t weight just the airport. The steward who takes care of you always knock. It’s not like different maids. One person. If you are fly to the port always go the day before. Trust me! Take small bills to tip. On the drink package some lines makes everyone in the room get the drink package. The door stop can stay home. If are going on the larger new ships you won’t need a night light. Carry it any. On the new large ship they have a lock at the top for safty 0:58 Kids love thier area soooo much they stay there thier whole time. 😢

Sister Girl, you are r-e-a-d-y! I love it! Word of advice, also remember to take the motion sickness medication about 20-30 minutes before getting on the ship if you're not sure if you're sea sick-prone. Opt for the non-drowsy kind. After the first day, I take a half in the morning and a half at night. Because being sick can or will ruin your cruise. Love Ya!

OMG Ms. Sweet Pea I just found you because I was looking for facial hair remover videos and by the end of yours, I was a FAN! You are so much fun and so real. A couple of months ago I took my first cruise on Carnival (Venezia) after 12 years with NCL, and I always travel solo. I live in New York City and will not fly to get on a ship, so I only cruise out of Manhattan. I pack as tiny as possible. (Best tip is to use the tiny flameless candles from Dollar Tree as night lights... they come in a 3-pack and I use 2 for my cabin at night!) I cracked up when you said you'd been studying all the KZbin videos because that's exactly what I did before my first Carnival cruise! Wish I was on the same ship as you... you are so much fun, and I bet you'll be the most popular person on the ship. Your first cruise is when you realize what you DIDN'T need to pack, so I hope you do that kind of video after your return. Can't wait to watch your cruise vlog... have an AMAZING, MAGICAL cruise! You're doing good for your 1st cruise. I would suggest: 1) Liquid soap for your cabin bathroom; they provide bar soap 2) An extension cord 3) Over the door shoe organizer for extra storage if needed 4) Towel clips for beach chairs 5) Aloe Vera

They will stage your luggage by your door, so that may take a few hours. I definitely recommend boosting your immune system some days before because you will be around a lot of ppl. I recommended taking out your dress as soon as possible to help reduce the amount of wrinkles. If you already know where you will be docking, i recommend looking up the safest transportation and attractions and have cash if you don't want to swipe your card. Be early returning back to the ship because you do not want to be the one running for the ship getting left. If it's going to be a large group, you may want to consider walkie talkies that have a decent range so you can stay in contact w/o having to pay to use your phone. It is beautiful at night on the ship but always always have a buddy with you at all times. There will be a lot of pictures that they will want you to buy. They've gotten smarter and print watermarks on them to ensure ppl don't take a picture of the picture with their phones😂 Don't so like we did and over indulge in that all you can eat food! Your gut will be all messed up lol Room service is available if you don't want to be around all the ppl at the buffet. Depending on the room size space for your things may be limited so you may not be able to stage everything like we normally do at a hotel. Yes sometimes the bathrooms do smell and you also want to be aware of where you place items that can easily tip over due to waves.

@@supportivemom I always reach out to my cell phone carrier to see if they have plans you can use while in port. I also take beach towel clips and clothes pins (dollar store). This way you can hang your wet clothes on the clothes line in the shower and clip your towels to your chairs on the beach/deck. Also...take some zip lock baggies in the event you want goodies from the buffet for later. Enjoy the cruise!

My family and I always cruise during the summer, you’re going to have an amazing time! They do not weight your bag at the port, so you can pack away! lol I will also suggest bringing your own tumbler, the cups are small and it will save you from going back and forth to the drink machine. Your luggage is normally at your door when your room are ready, but we always pack a small bag with an extra outfit and essentials just in case they are running behind.

My 1st cruise was overwhelming when it came to packing. I had and packed all the items you have and once I got to the room and saw how small it was….i had no choice but to live out of my suitcase. The only time I was in the room was to go to sleep so all the extras I didn’t need. Please pack light bc your anxiety will kick in. Have Fun!

They ask for your bag to not be over 50 pounds but they don’t weigh them… trust me my bags are usually over 50 pounds unless I’m flying . Make sure you apply your motion sickness patches a few days ahead of time, also if anyone gets sick green apples help with nausea.

Great video! The only thing I would add would be disposable sheets and pillow cases plus bed bug treatment. There are cruise groups on Facebook, and people are experiencing bed bugs. Have fun!
