The Catalina Street is a real sleeper kit. Made famous on all of Emmett Cohen videos! I'd probably have bought one if I knew about it years ago.

Just measured the dimensions and I'm excited to find out that my entire Ludwig Break Beats kit will fit in the bag! Thanks for making the video! It's the only one surfacing on the web right now.

Everything fits except for the snare. I just put it in a snare bag. Hope that helps

Nice and right video for me... im thinking about to buy one of this... Do you think that fits a cocktail drum, bass drum 25" x 15", tom 5.5" X 10" and popcorn snare 5.5" X 8" ??? i've done some simulations drawing in scale, but my doubt is about the bass drum height.... Thank u for the video...

my bass drum (Gretsch Catalina Street) is 16" so the maximum size can fit is 16"
@Timbales19795 жыл бұрын
Yuri Prado Yes, that would fit perfectly. 25" + 5.5" + 5.5" = 36". The height on this case is 40", so you're good!

Mamoru Iwasaki When he said 25 × 15 bass drum, he didn't mean 25 diameter by 15 depth. He meant 15 diameter by 25 depth. Do you not know what a cocktail drumset is?

Your bag has only one exterior side pocket? The photos I see online show two, one on either side
@jorymil4 ай бұрын
Mine only has one as well. Not ideal, but with a kit this size, you can do away with cymbal stands and just have: throne, hh, pedal, cymbal arm, snare stand, ft legs, tom mount. We're all looking for that perfect one-bag kit; the only way I know of is with a kick/snare sort of setup. The exterior pocket is fine for a stick bag or your ft legs, but that's about it.

@@jorymil I've since received my bag and it does have pockets on either side, which I like for this exact reason

I love my Gretsch Street kit. Can't help but wish they went ahead and gave it the full on "Nesting" treatment, but hey!

ive been looking at different videos, the bombo can open and close?
@hazamarock8 жыл бұрын
What is Bombo? You mean Bass drum? yeah able to open it.
@jorymil4 ай бұрын
Yes - the bass drum is sort of a clamshell design: there's an air gap when fully extended. The ft is too tall for it to be a fully nested design, but the bass drum separates into two pieces, similar to a nesting kit.

Meh. I prefer to split up my breakbeats kit into two bags, just so it doesn't break my back trying to lift it in and out of a car
