I bought the pastel rainbow yarn for my first knit project, a beanie for my 10 month old. I’ve been debating using the extra yarn for scrunchies but hadn’t been brave enough to try it since I’m used to velvet for scrunchies as well. After seeing yours, I know I have to use it for scrunchies and go get more 😂😂

I was literally just at my local Joanne's and I saw bernatte velvet in a purple and blue colorway. I almost missed it because it's a subtle color difference. I picked up a ball for scrunchies, made one so far, and it turned out pretty

I'm obsessed with that scrunchie! I have the same yarn and I just used it for a scarf but have like half leftover and wanted to make some scrunchies for my gift stock so I am def going to make some! Also, hobby lobby has some printed either chenille or velvet yarns, by the non baby bee velvets at the VERY bottom, under the furry yarns. That candy bar was going to expire--that's the reason for the discount!
