I love this process. I'm definitely going to try this out, I see it as a great way to put images into my Secret Garden journal. I certainly can relate to you being busy in the garden and being behind on comments, etc. I have ben up to my eyeballs in actual Nature out there, still clearing up from the big storm, building path in the Stroll Garden, and getting my vegetable garden set out. So I am SOOOO behind on making pages or looking at other people's. Maybe I'll be able to do more when the weather gets blazing hot again.

Thanks Ellie - we've had great spring weather here which has made such a difference during lockdown. have got on with garden jobs that might not have got done otherwise. :)

Thank you! This is really fascinating! Have you ever tried to glue it onto something more translucent like tracing paper? It might make a fun clear-ish tag or a window in a tag. Love it! Also I wonder if you have tried it with a photograph? Wonderful!💕
@KylieCooStudio4 жыл бұрын
Hi Donna - thanks so much for watching and commenting. Yes, I love working with anything translucent - so tracing paper, deli paper etc. It's a good idea to try with photographs as well. Thanks again

I like the video(always love your videos) , but I dont understand why a package transfer? The shine always comes through although the matt medium .. A picture can be distressed way better without the plastic. And looks perhaps better than plastic in your beautiful grunge journal. Or do I oversea a point that makes plastic transfers looking better than paper?
@KylieCooStudio4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your kind comment about my videos. You make a very valid point about the packing tape and that has made me stop and think about it's use especially in a nature journal. I do distress images in other ways and I suppose I was just trying to show something different this time. I'll be mindful of this in future. Thanks for watching and commenting :)

Will this work gluing them to wood?
@KylieCooStudio4 жыл бұрын
That's a good question Vi - it's not something I've tried but I would think that so long as you have a suitable glue then it should. Probably a PVA glue and maybe weighting it down to ensure it can fully bond. I must try it sometime :)

What is caddy paper????
@KylieCooStudio4 жыл бұрын
Hi Carrie - it's Khadi paper also known as cotton rag paper. The longer fibres are used to make this paper which gives it a more textured finish than most other papers. Hope that helps :)
@nevilgrubb4 жыл бұрын
Kylie Coo Studio “Khadi” paper!! LOL No wonder I couldn’t find it when I searched for it! No I can do another search (I’ve never heard of it) Thank you so much for the help. Just discovered you on YT 😀 Where in Scotland do you reside? It has been years since my last visit .... beautiful country!
@KylieCooStudio4 жыл бұрын
Hi Carrie - I always means to put some names up on screen when it's an unusual name ... but I often forget! I'm glad you know now though :) I am around 25 miles east of Edinburgh. If ever you visit again then give me a shout :)
@nevilgrubb4 жыл бұрын
Kylie Coo Studio visit you! Absolutely I will! It would be an honor ❤️ When I visited I spent a week in Edinburgh then we traveled to on to Inverness then on to the Isle of Skye. Beautiful country! Don’t worry about putting names in the screen.....I know filming and editing are loads of work....I have done it! It is hard to remember everything!! My husband’s family are the McNaughton’s but I am not sure what area of Scotland they are from. BTW....Love your channel.

I love watching others doing art work, but i had to keep skipping forward because she just took a little too long for my taste. But a few parts were ok. She needs to speed up the process a lot more.
@KylieCooStudio4 жыл бұрын
Hi Amy O - thanks for your comment and feedback. I often say in my videos that I am a slow worker - that's just my pace and there are some things I need to take my time with and most of the time I don't want to rush things because I want to enjoy my art and my craft. I do put some things on at a faster speed sometimes but if I think there is benefit to demonstrating a technique at normal speed then I do that - and viewers can use the little gear button to speed up/ slow down if they prefer. I have a number of viewers who prefer to see things at normal speed rather than a time-lapsed video - so I am always trying to strike the right balance. As I say, thanks for your feedback.
