Packraft expedition Karnali Nepal Day 5 - Pure action in the raft 😎🔥

On day 5, the time had come. Tommy and I were instructed not to tackle today's stage in our packrafts, but rather to go in the big raft for safety reasons, as today included the most challenging rapids of the entire tour with up to 4+ white water.
Although the large and heavily loaded raft felt very stable in the water, the large waves and rollers almost caused us to capsize.
But you can see how we did here in the video from day 5.

😆👍 Alleine würde ich es wirklich nicht empfehlen, auch wenn es sehr verlockend ist, aber wenn dir da auf dem Wasser was passiert, bist du ziemlich schnell am Ar***. Immer nur in der Gruppe mit erfahrenen Paddlern. Macht die Sache viel entspannter. LG Tom

Bestes action Kino. Drone und Boatsicht -bestes Entertainment.... alleine die beiden Szenen um 11 und 12---- super. Wie hast du das gemacht? Hast du die Drone folgen lassen? Gruß Tom

Hey Tom, ja das mit der Drohne war schwierig. Wir haben erst in Nepal bemerkt, dass die neue DJI-Mini-4-Pro Boote bzw. Kajakfahrer nicht als zu verfolgendes Ziel erkennt und somit Aktiv-Tracking auf dem Wasser nicht möglich ist.🤬total bescheuert. D.h. es musste die Drohne immer jemand manuell steuern. In diesem Fall erst Seon, wie wir im Raft die Stelle befahren und dann später ich, wie Seon die zweite Stromschnelle paddelt. Ziemlich umständlich, aber freut mich daher um so mehr, dass der Aufwand sich gelohnt hat und so gut bei euch ankommt. LG Tom 🥳👍

Ich dachte auch,dass die das kann. Aber scheinbar ist Wasser etwas schwieriger als Untergund. Gut zu wissen. Ich hatte auch überlegt das so zu machen. Dann sind fast die Dronen besser, welche "nur" der Fernsteuerung folgen. Denke das kann sie auch. Egal, ist auf jeden Fall riesen Kino. Ich weiß ja was es heißt das alles hin zu bekommen. Nur bei euch noch ein paar Schippen schwieriger. Werde ich sicher ein paar mal anschauen... Geil. Gruß
