One thing I really like about Cetrion is that even though she's on the opposing side to Jacqueline and Jax she immediatly wants to resolve things peacefully and even seemed genuinely concerned for their safety once they put the crown on which was a nice breath of fresh air from the usual sadists and warmongers.

Yeah she's supposed to be the Goddess of Light & Virtue where as Shinnok is the God of Death. If Raiden hadn't killed Shinnok then Cetrion would have been the one to stop him as part of Kronika's plan (i think).

Although not confirmed, it's likely that Cetrion was originally designed to be an ally for the heroes, before being retconned into a double agent for Kronika. Hence why her betrayal lacks foreshadowing, and why some of her fight intros have her on friendly terms with the heroes (such as encouraging Jade to "Follow (her) heart", advising Sonya not to be self-sacrificial, and telling Sub-Zero that she witnessed his and Raiden's trip to the 'Injustice' universe).

Cetrion was likely to be the one who give her life force to Liu Kang. I don't think Liu Kang + Raiden could defeat a Titan who is beyond elder gods furthermore, she has a powerful ass crown with the life force of an elder god that has wipe out all other elder gods too? This is seemingly impossible to me. So I think Corrupted Cetrion was meant to give Liu Kang her life force.

Cetrion is a good, positive and wise Elder God. But in this timeline of MK11 Era, her mother Kronika simply designed the timeline in a way where her kids will serve to her, so Cetrion and Shinnok were predicted and created in a way to be loyal to their mother no matter what. The opening scene of MK11 movie explains it on the best way. The problem of this timeline starts in a point when Rayden (Demi God) defeat Shinnok (Elder God) in the Earthrealm which in fact simply shouldn't be possible because the Elder Gods have a way more power, durability, invurnability and of course, they live forever. But however, It means that mortal Humans have free will and that during the current timeline various kind of events simply can happened such as in this case a defeat of Shinnok. In Cetrion's case, when she started with some actions on Earthrealm followed by her natural free will of goodness and light - that wasn't in Kronika's design of this Era, so her mother start manipulating with her heart and emotions. So, Kronika's ultimate plan with this timeline (Era) was to provide to her son Shinnok to become the ruler of all realms including the Earthrealm, to spread the darkness and gets all worlds under his control, but Rayden and Human mortal fighers are fighting for it's own future (destiny) and they somehow defeat the Elder God Shinnok using some kind of God's weapon called "Amulet". So, this event shouldn't happened in Kronika's design of this timeline where Shinnok are predicted to be the conquer of all worlds, so Kronika simply HAD to manipulate with her daughter Cetrion if she wanted to continue with her plans with this timeline. And in the end, as I said, Cetrion is a positive and good character, she's one of the Elder Gods, she's too powerful like the others and they all are living forever, BUT, the Human free will is a reminder to conclusion that we have our own control and that we can shape our own destiny. Kronika wanted to wipe out Rayden from existence in the new Era, but Humans have free will and they fight for their own destiny. Now in the new Era, Rayden will not dissaper, and Cetrion as the Elder God will be free in a way where her mother Kronika will be no longer to manipulate with her heart and feelings. And leading by this logic, guess that Cetrion and Rayden will be on the same side as allies against resurrected Elder God Shinnok in a human form.

Considering everyone's "elemental" powers that made them seem godly. Kronika is the only one who actually deserves a godlike title, Time is far different than physical stuff... But it dampened her by requiring her crown & others to get it for her. Only losing to Kronika yields a different result. You’ll be promoted to restart if you lose to her. Cetrion is of virtue and does give Earthrealm the knowledge of how to overcome the time merge. But when she is forced to betray her elder god kin; she does so as she follows her virtues of servitude. She remains true to herself despite how painful it is to her. It’s also speculative that she returns in the time merger’s end as Liu Kang assumes lord of time with Kitana. She didn’t want to do this but her Mother’s Will was something her virtues honored.

I don't think so really. As an Elder God she is probably stronger than most of the cast! Jaccqui/jax only beat her because of Shang Tsung's souls powering them and even the it was only enough to knock her back for a bit. I think her corrupted form is just her being enraged or something haha.

I'm making alternate story for the characters on these videos I've already done Jade and Kitana. So this is cetrion's. The story can run its course all the way up to the final fight Liu kang has just beaten Revenant Kitana, Kung Lao, and Kabal (in my alternate timeline evil Jade is killed and evil Kitana' wants to erase Kotal from the new era for killing her. Also time has now been rewound) Cetrion fights liu kang has beaten Cetrion and the whole thing Liu Kang tells her and such Cetrion realizes the truth in his words and turns on Kronika. (Throughout the game she was having doubts. To make this turn more easier to believe.) The revenants recover and Cetrion and Liu Kang fight them. She helps Liu Kang fight Kronika (cut scene) they realize they don't have the power to beat Kronika. Cetrion uses her power to make Liu Kang a full god but that still isn't enough so she sacrifices herself and gives Liu her power. Liu kang is now fused with cetrion and raiden. He fights Kronika and the same plays out. I know the story has holes in it but I'm not trying to make it perfect I just like writing alternate stories I find it fun.

She is meant to be the opposite of her twin. Yeah, she does support her mother's crazy fantasies, but if you think about it from her perspective. It is her mother that she is talking about. She does realize that her mother is insane in the last scene, but she still loved her unconditionally and of her natural virtuous nature to not say no to her mother.
