Paco de Lucia has been able to put an imprint on the art of flamenco since its founding to be accompanying it no matter how time passes. He is an artist of all ages. Farewell to music after him.🌍

Man, Paco had so many licks it's not even funny. Not only was his technique as near perfect as can be, his musical expression (and compositional abilities!) were supreme. He's one of the greatest guitarists who ever lived, surely.

Amazing lesson Felipe but... I am totally lost in 7:35, would it be possible to have a video about it? I believe this is one of the most helpful tutorials I've ever seen... Simple and to the point. Thank you soooo much!
@FelipeCoelhoGuitar3 жыл бұрын
Hey JB thanks for watching. At 7:35 I say you can use any open string as long as it has some connection to the chord. That means the note should be part of the chord (best case scenario) like in a G major chord, where the third string (G) represents the tonic, or the second string (B) represents the third of the chord. Or second case scenario the open string should at least represet and "available" extension of the chord such as 9th or 13th. And the worst case scenario which you want to avoid is when the open string represents an outside (dissonant) note from the present chord, in that case, dont use it. Yes?

@FelipeCoelhoGuitar8 ай бұрын
Thank you friend! Could you please show me where in this video I said I was going to explain "flamenco"? My intent was to show four phrases from an open musical perspective. If you would like to learn about flamenco specifically, I made a video with tips about the compas of bulerías, let me know what you think.

@FelipeCoelhoGuitar2 жыл бұрын
?? Most people say I explain stuff too fast, plus you can skip ahead on the video if you want. But the amount of information regarding rhythm, fingering, tonality possibilities on each of those phrases needs to be addressed unless you are the kind of player who just memorizes where to put your fingers while having no understanding of whats happening thus never being able to really apply this stuff effectively. Read the other comments on this video and see how many people think like you. Zero. You have been the only douchebag to complain about this material which is free!! You are welcome to pay me a hundred dollars an hour for a lesson and have it the way you want. If not, then be greatful you can access free lessons and dont be a douchebag, douchebag!

More of showing off than teaching ...!!!

You would find the teachings very useful if you were not a beginner.
@elpadrinom63452 жыл бұрын
@@FelipeCoelhoGuitar I don't think calling me a beginner is insulting , hold your horses man & relax . your videos should target beginners to spread your ((knowledge)) wider .
@FelipeCoelhoGuitar2 жыл бұрын
Before doing things for success and numbers, I must first be happy and fullfilled. Teaching people A B Cs and where to put their fingers does not excite me. There are enough guys out there teaching beginner stuff, it would be a waste for me to do it if I can actually bring more interesting stuff to the table. Also you should not be looking for beginner content on a video about Paco de Lucía. And lastly, 99% of the people here seem to think differently than you. I find offensive to hear that I am "showing off" when I am giving away free content and breaking down interesting phrases very slowly. Thats why you got that answer. I have plenty of musical performances in the channel to "show off" with. This is a free lesson. Be thankful. If its over your head, go back and learn your scales and basics. Then I guarantee you will make better sense out of this, just as everyone else here has and wont have to make such a douche comment.
