Honestly I think fragrance enthusiasts are usually harsher on scents than the average person lol ive seen a lot of bad of reviews on this (especially the presentation) but most people outside of the fragrance community seems to like it. The look of it and the smell. Ive given it as a gift several times and it gets a lot of compliments lol

“Fragence enthusiast” is a subjective term, I agree if one likes the scent then that is all that matters. I especially hate hearing what age should wear a fragrance, because if someone is buying a fragrance based off age or the design of a bottle then they are missing the point.

I was really surprised at how much I like this fragrance. It is sweet almost to much but my wife loves sweet fragrances. I'm 51 and own roughly 200 fragrances and Phantom is one of my favorite 2021 purchases.

I enjoy the playfulness of the bottle. No, it's not a beautiful bottle nor is it presented in a masterful way, but I feel it has a place among other fragrance. It is synthetic, but there's a uniqueness about that draws you. I doubt it will, but it could easily become a very popular fragrance due to it's all around uniqueness.

Funny, i have 60+ designer and niche fragrances. And Phantom is my Most complimented fragrance by far. More then: Bleu De Chanel EDT-EDP or Parfum, The One EDT, Le Male Le Parfum, Noir Extreme Parfum, CH Bad Boy, CH Cobalt, Bleu Electriqe, Eros EDP and Many others. I'm 39 btw.

I'm 35 and I think this stuff rocks. I have a nice collection and I didn't plan on buying this but I'm glad I was sent a sample because I love it. I'm waiting until prices drop but I think this fragrance is great but it could last a little longer on my skin. Oh and the bottle is cool I don't care what anyone says.

I tried this fragrance at Ulta when it first came out and I actually love it. I also noticed that it last much longer than most fragrances I have bought before like the edt of Light Blue D&G. But I can see how a lot of people didn’t like it.

I work in fragrance. Nothing to do with Paco Rabanne though. I’ve tried this fragrance, and I think it’s the best fragrance they have ever done. Fragrance reviewers are known for being snobs for the sake of being snobs. The whole concept of fragrance reviewers are immediately bias. That’s because fragrance is entirely subjective. If you don’t like something, even if you don’t mean to, it’s likely to impact an overall review. And then there is the issue of people making reviews, without having worn it. Fragrance changes as you wear it. I must admit, whilst I believe the entire concept of reviewing fragrance is flawed, at least this guy spoke with other people, and spoke to the longevity of the scent. It does give this particular review, a bit more of a rounded review.

Just bought this for my partner, I usually buy him Toy Boy. I bought it because after spraying 15 other fragrances, this was by far the best. I stick by that... it smells glorious.

Switching from Polo double black after many years. Got pulled my a Macy's associate to sample this. My wife fell in love and I must say that I do like the cologne also. I'm 49 and get many compliments on my phantom cologne.

Its actually not a bad scent at all, and not as synthetic as people will claim it to be. Its fresh smooth and sweet. Its an all rounder guys but i got this one at ross for 64.99 so look out for it.

I've bought 8, 5 0z. Bottles and within that time. I've had 11 dates. The Paco rebanne Phantom works well for me :) I love this fragrance. The chicks seem to like it. I'm heading to the store to get bottle 9. It makes me feel confident. No need to talk bad about this cologne. It may not work for everyone. Just dont buy it at a generic store. I also love Paco rebanne INVICTUS Elixir. I'm a fan

I always say to myself & others concerning age and particular fragrances being suited for an age group; If you like a fragrance, then wear it. So what happens if someone like myself, a 58 year old guy, gets “caught” wearing this? Are people going to pull me aside and say things like; “Dude, you’re like 90 and you smell like a freaking teenager.” I don’t think so. Yes, I’m 58 and I wear “1 Million” & “Joop Homme” in the summer, lol!

I loved Phantom from the first smell! I had to buy the 150ml refillable bottle as soon as it went down on Amazon. And, as a Sci-fi fan, I love the presentation and for the first time in my life I even display it as a decoration piece. But, as some say, be careful with the spraying. Not much needed, imo. BTW, I'm 32.

I am 22 and like sweet colognes and so does my significant other so this one works perfect for me and everyone who's smelled it on me complimented me on it and some even wanted to know what it was. I don't care for the bottle at all, originally when I saw the bottle I did not like it and still don't but as soon as I smelled it and got that sweetness I knew it was for me, I sprayed it on my hoodie and left the store without buying any cologne, smelled my hoodie by chance later that night when I was putting it away and the smell was like woah wait - next day went back and bought it. There is definitely a age thing when it comes to what old guys like and what some younger guys like and I think that's just due to aging, people expect you to be more reserved and classy, life style things etc, older guys don't normally want poppy smelling things or sweet things from what I know normally, I mean it goes hand & hand with how when I smell some popular older guy colognes I can't stand them but I'm sure as I get older my nose and life style will change and so I will wear different things. It's not that its a bad cologne - far from it with the reactions to it I have gotten, it's more what's your age and it for you or not.

Sprayed some on my hand last time I was at Ulta and it smelled okay off the top, then it turned into a creamy suntan lotion mixed with a dollar store air freshener after a few minutes and I couldn't wait to scrub it off of my skin.

I found my sample a bit over-sweet, slightly choking, trying too hard. It is a bit synthetic too, but that did not bother me as much as my prior objections. The bottle is not for me. Don't hate it, I'm just indifferent to it. it's a nice idea and people who love it are welcome to it. I think the bottle will attract a lot of fingerprints.

So ive smelled a bunch , am older, have a big collection and love niche too ( Biack Afgano and Pardon by Nassmatto are favs) and i like and love to wear this fragrance and get compliments with it. with a light touch on the sprayer its an awesome frag that gets alot of compliments. how can you like CH Bad Boy EDT and ToyBoy and not like this. Ive noticed Phantom shines in cold weather too.

i like the fragrane although i would have to admit, it is bordering on the level of bisexuality ; meaning both men an women could wear it. Phantom is sweet and dries down to reveal musk overtones while retaining lavender/vanilla. Phanton does have some charactoristics of Versace Eros and i believe would work in late fall, winter, to early spring seasons. i was also shocked of the perfermance of the fragrance. i sprayed twice at 11am and could still smell this on me 12 hours later quite clearly. Obviously, I have other preferences, however, I wouldn't feel any reservations in using this on casual occasions in cooler weather. Alpine climates and snow weather come to mind.

I've been a paco robanne fan for years starting with ultraviolet. I love the smell of this but everytime I catch a whiff of myself I can't help but think it smells extremely similar to black XS

I really enjoy this one. Got a few samples of it. Love that citrus at the top and then it just gets creamier and creamier. Vanilla and lavender. Last forever too. Bottle is funny too

I think most people would buy just for the design of the bottle alone but as for the fragrance itself. It's not too bad, really nice actually and lasts 6+ hours on my skin.

Was at the store and put this and badboy on each arm. Both to me are pretty similar. Badboy was so much better, lasted much longer, and was a sweet but bold smell. Robot was nice, but not worth the price imho
