Pacsafe Vibe 100 anti-theft Hip Pack Coyote Colour - zipper locking system demonstration

A close up look at Pacsafe buckle and locking mechanism design to be used with padlocks. Pacsafe is well known for its anti-theft security features of their travelling equipment. Today, we are looking at Pacsafe Vibe 100 hip pack. It comes in three colours and I like this Coyote colour the most. This colour is made from recycled PET material.
In this video, we will take a close look at how the Pacsafe Pop N Lock buckle, eXomesh slashguard, zipper Roobar sport locking system, and slashguard strap works, as well as the compartments. This Pacsafe Vibe 100 is referred to as a hip pack, fanny pack, waist pouch, waist pack or however we want to call this. The dimension of this pouch, as well as the biggest tablet this pouch can hold, are demonstrated in this video. There is also an RFID pocket for us to stow our wallet.

excellent video, just bought this one in blue cameo was on sale for $45 Canada ... my 2nd one. my first one, the pull tab on the zipper broke after about 3 years, but i just added a key chain to open it. luv this pack

Hi Lee, the blue one looks really really nice, when I bought it, the blue camo is not available, if not I might consider that colour too. At that time, this Coyote colour is on offer too. Its a really nice handy pouch.

pretty cool party trick. attach it to a table and go to the bathroom. friends: take care, you forgot your bag, someone can walk away with it. then tell them to try lol. even without padlock they'd need hours to figure out how to detach it :) my zipper broke, but i got a new one under warranty

I own 3 (one of it is underway) and will add this one soon. 30l dry lite for riding and work, 150 sling for everyday carry (because it can fit Samsung tablet), venturesafe 30l burnt orange for travel, Pacsafe Vibe 100 for special reason (it has to be hip locked).

@@RealFableFox Oh wow. Now that you mentioned it, I was at the bag shop the just two days ago and was attracted to Vibe 150. Almost bought it, but I thought maybe I will get that after I upgrade to a 12 inch tablet. My current Alpaka Bravo X cannot fit a12 inch tablet. When you use the Vibe 150 as a sling, does it always gravitate towards your neck and does not stay on the shoulder? Some sling bag strap drifts towards the neck as we carry, and can be quite annoying. Thanks for the comment.

I don't have an iPad mini 6 to test the fit. Based on the size I found on the internet, 7.69 in (195 mm) (height) 5.31 in (135 mm) (width) 0.25 in (6.4 mm) (depth), it should be able to fit it but it's going to be tight. It might not be able to fit into the inner slot, but its should be able to go into the main compartment at the very least.

The zipper appears to be easily openable by simply poking it with a ballpoint pen or anything similar. Pacsafe needs to address this major fault on their products. Otherwise, all of the safety measures on their products are either completely pointless or a hoax.

This version of Vibe 100 must be very old, because the current version of this bag has a third hidden zipped pocket in the back where bag is leaning against your body.
