When I used a Haibol/Nova team to clear this, I also added a combo orb assist so I could easily take down Echidna Sara and pass Lucifer’s 9-combo test

Probably because this team doesn't have attribute disadvantage over any enemies unlike Muichiro who kinda struggle against wood enemies.

Agreed that the lack of dark resist in this dungeon and the spinners make pitou feel better than muichiro in this dungeon specifically.

I am seething right now. For whatever reason at @21:12 when he puts shields back up I have my damage shield up and do a max combo. but instead of putting up the 2 roulettes like he does in this video he just one shots me even with the damage shield buff up. what am i doing wrong? Edit: is there a hp threshold I should be shooting for? My current max is 388,823

How's the boss's HP? If you drop him to 50% or less within 2 turn of your attack, he prioritize putting the shield back up. The awoken bind and big hit comes later (after you break one shield). If you drop him too low, that may be his execute hit. How big is his damage when he one-shots you? Edit: Final boss doesn't seem like he has an execute move. His biggest hit is around 2.2M. If you got hit by awoken bind before that hit, you may need to increase you base HP without awakening(s). Max level On-color assist helps.

@@sgt502 thats what it is. the execute hit. i dont remember off the bat what the damage is but i do know im almost always back to full hp and i have a chakeol damage shield on top of leader shield from comboing and i still die. im guessing i have to do more damage on first shield or less?

I think you probably didn't match poison orbs so you don't have LS shield. There's no way this team dies to final boss' hit with active shield up even with awoken bind. You're looking at 323k damage, the biggest hit from final boss, with awoken bind applied and Chakeol shield up.

@@sgt502 I forgot to mention I am using a gouten team. But after 2 more runs I specifically paid attention. @20:39 when he does the awoken bind, my hp drops to 161046 and then he one shots me. I noticed in your vid even when he does awoken bind on your team it doesnt drop your HP below 300k and you can tank the hit.

@Sol-D81 You probably have too many Team HP assist or have a unit that ain't dragon type and had to use assist that adds dragon type. Just have a big shield ready if that so.

You can use Meruem friend helper so you have 2 Meruem. The other slot can be filled with 5x4 board solver such as Tatsuya Shiba. Another Pitou works to replace Meruem too. Probably need to re-arrange assists.

Would the two meruem setup be enough to one shot a shield without damage cap?

I believe so. 2.14B from at least 2 attributes.

I only have 2 Pitou and 1 Meruem... suggestions? I thought something like 9271 (witch nellekitty -damage) or 8591 (killua - loop shield and damage) and 5933 (Kamimisubi - damage and unlock assists)...

1 Pitou 2 Meruem should work, or 2 Pitou 1 Meruem. The other slots should be another card which does good damage and will carry/have absorption void for F10 to free Pitou and Meruem to do their job.

do you feel 3 meruem are more or less risky than the two meruem teams?

3 Meruem can do damage in 5x4 board so the team doesn't need 5x4 board solution while 2 Meruem and 1 Pitou puts the team on a gallow when encountering 5x4 board and the only skill available is Pitou. But sure 2 Meruem and 1 Pitou can do great with skill management.

Well, this build is a hard no considering I didn't pull either Pitou or Meruem...🤭🤭...I thought about running a quad Aggregate build considering there aren't any skill delays or leader swappers, but something tells me I might need to think of something else...🤨🤔

Quad Greg might be doable if you put damage cap assist on 2 Greg and let it overcharge after F6 dispel all of your buff. Currently I'm trying Akaza team.

@@sgt502 Good luck with the Akaza build. You know I have this strange feeling that sometime soon there's going to be a 0.01% supergravity (or maybe hypergravity) dungeon whose boss will have like 1+ trillion HP. The slog that must be gone through if that should happen...
