Really happy to come across your channel. Thanks for making this video. I like that you aren't getting super technical but you're still providing a lot of valuable information. I would love to see you compare these paddles to the Engage Pursuit Pro EX and EX 6.0. Thank you, and please continue to produce content like this. Great job!

Appreciate the compliment a lot! I’ll keep that comparison in mind. I plan to have the numbers but try to tell exactly how the paddles feel to me.

Great review! However, in one segment I couldn’t quite understand the audio. Did you say you DID or DIDN’T feel the paddle twisting in your hands blocking hard drives? I’m really stuck between the 13s and the 16s. I kind of wish you’d do a comparison between the 13 and 16s instead of the forza. I love the idea of the lowest swing weight as I’d love to have super fast hands but I’m nervous the resets and drops are difficult with the 13s vs the 16s. That being said, is the swing weight that different with the 13s being 99 and the 16s being 104. I do have tennis elbow issues and I play with the proton type A 11mm. Love the spin but that paddle is a little shaky with that thin core.. for my taste so I’d like more stability and a softer feel.

Thanks for the detailed comment. The difference between the two’s swing weights isn’t significant with how low they both are and some might not feel the slight difference. For you, I’d recommend the 16S. Most important part of pickleball is being able to play and the 16S is super stable on blocks and resets.

Hey, thanks for the review. As someone struggling with tennis elbow (and shoulder issues) would you say one paddle over the other for that? Or is the difference in swing weight not significant enough to recommend one over the other for that?
@AllDriveNoDropPickleball8 ай бұрын
Hey thewayofmountains. Great question. The problem with tennis elbow is there are so many factors that can cause it and swing weight could be one. Vibration can be another. Too small of grip circumference can be another. Basically, I’m saying I’m not sure if any will help with your tennis elbow. But if you have isolated it to needing lower swing weight then yes the Gruvn Muvn 13s is worth the swing weight reduction.

Great video! These are the two paddles that I can’t decide between. I know this is a comparison of the 13 and 14 mm but I would be getting the 16 in either brand. I can’t imagine that it would affect the outcome, but do you think it would lessen the pop a little bit? I prefer less than more. honestly the sole reason that I’m considering the.gruvn is because it has a 4.75 handle option. I tend to play with one finger on back of face and never use 2 hands.

I think you will be fine with the GRUVN 16 very controllable paddle and one of the few brands offering that handle length

@@AllDriveNoDropPickleball Thank you so much for the feedback. I also just saw on Instagram that volair is releasing a Kevlar. Do you know anything about that? I wonder if it will be standard or hybrid. Control or power.

Thanks for comparing these two paddles. I'm glad you mentioned that there is not much difference in handle length because companies differ in the way they measure. I'm looking for a paddle with at least 5.5" handle. I have considered both of these paddles. Based on your review the Forza Mach 2 would probably be better for me. Thanks!

You’re welcome! Glad you liked it. I could see 2024 being the year of the wide bodys. Hope you enjoy the Mach 2 Forza I think they are about to restock the 14mm. Don’t forget code:AllDriveNoDrop can save you 10% at volair.com.

Thank you! I enjoy the paddle battle comparisons because a lot of people ask what about X paddle versus Y paddle? I’m trying to bring different formats and styles. Any other comparisons you are looking for right now?

Do you know how both Swing weight & Twist weight are calculated? I have the GRUVN and like it. That Forza has quite the spin numbers.
@AllDriveNoDropPickleball8 ай бұрын
I think most reviewers are using the Briffidi SW1 with the pickleball adapter which is what I am using. Yeah, the spin does make slight difference if you rely on a lot of spin.

Okay, now once you are done with your next review i need to know which paddle you think would be better for an aggressive player. I already know i want the mach 2 forza but do I buy the 14 or 16? I am definitely a spinner because i come from a table tennis background. I also hit hard and love placement.
@AllDriveNoDropPickleball9 ай бұрын
Hey you are in luck because I have the Mach 2 Forza 14mm vs 16mm comparison video already. You’ll want the 14mm as an aggressive player if you want the most pop. You can still be aggressive with the 16 (it is amazing at control) but it has less pop and a higher swing weight.
@RawDawg589 ай бұрын
Thanks!!! I’m gonna be buying the 14 then!!! Appreciate your help!!!!

I currently play with JOOLA Scorpeus 16mm but want a little more power and pop. I am 74 can control my game but need help with power at the baseline and pop at the kitchen. Prefer a light weight paddle with low swing weight and a decent sweet spot. Both of these paddle seems to fit what I am lookin for. Do you know how is these paddles compared to the Anna Bright’s 14mm Scorpeus as someone suggested that I should switch to it. Thanks
@AllDriveNoDropPickleball8 ай бұрын
I wish I could answer that but it has been a bit since I have hit the the AB Scorp and I don’t have power/pop numbers for it. If you want the most pop and power combo than the Gruvn Muvn 13s is the one for you it will give you great pop and above average power.
