Draw Stroke - Strokes and Concepts

If you watch any decently trained paddlers, they use variations of the draw stroke all the time. It is absolutely a fundamental stroke for accurate manoeuvring as you quite rightly point out. Just watch a Slalom paddler some time.

Awesome instructional vid ! I learned when young being brought up in canoes, the rudder stroke is similar to the draw stroke here. Proper paddle techniques will save you alot of energy all day long on the water.
