Loved this river, had many trips on it. One year in late July we were surprised to see the river looking worth doing, the water was grey and loaded with sediment. We got on only to discover our boats were barely able to float. So we got off. When we went upstream to see why , there was a huge digger in the middle of the river!

It’s pretty relentless. You would get reasonably tired after a few kilometres of that river.
