Paddy Moloney, Chief Chieftain is one of Ireland’s most famous and well-regarded musicians, a true legend of Irish music. Since 1962, Dublin born Paddy has led 6 time Grammy Award winners- The Chieftains, one of Ireland’s most celebrated musical exports and he's recognised as a worldwide ambassador for Irish folk music.
An uilleann piper and tin whistle master, Paddy continues to take his band to concert hall stages and festivals all over the world. Millions of record sales and thousands of live performances over a fifty year career have seen Paddy play with everyone from The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Sting and Kate Bush to sessions in pubs and backrooms in Ireland with his friends in music like Matt Molloy, Kevin Conneff and Seán Keane.
