Thanks for that. Didn't realize he worked with them in that era. I don't live in a cricketing nation, but was lucky enough to live in Australia during the end of the great Aussie team around 2000. I was always impressed by the dispassionate way cricket commentators of different nations would analyze the matches. Very even handed. I see that in Gukesh and all the young Indian generation. Glad Gukesh won. But Ding is a good guy, too.

@akhanduyitr369 Cricket players. Tendulkar, called the Little Master, is one of the greatest cricket players who ever lived. Retired maybe 15 years ago. Cricket in India is way more popular than chess. I forget the exact numbers, but after soccer (football, World Cup), cricket may be the second most popular sport in the world. India plus Pakistan is a lot of people. Very interesting game. Great literature, too.
