Prople arguing about the black family oml- Narcissa, Andromeda, and Bellatrix are sisters. They are first cousins of Sirius and Regulus. Tonks is Andromeda’s daughter and Draco is Narcissa’s son which makes them first cousins. Tonks and Sirius as well as Draco and Sirius are first cousins once removed as a “first cousin once removed” is the child of your first cousin.

I guess I’ll use the Black family yo explain it a little bit lol. Narcissa and Sirius are first cousins. That makes Draco Sirius’ first cousin _once removed_ . That also makes Scorpius Malfoy Sirius’ first cousin _twice removed_ . Hope that makes sense lol

I noticed this a month ago (the unfortunate name of Remus Lupin- like his first name is literally a wolf from Roman Mythology) and I almost screamed because Fenrir is the name of the giant wolf in Norse Mythology, like 2 people were screwed over here when they were named but Remus was screwed over the moment he was conceived (Lupin is Latin for Lupus which literally means 'wolf') Guarunetee Fenrir learned his name and was like 'well that's THAT decision made for me' 😅
