shubham shukla I know that he destroyed our temples heritage and more specifically he destroyed the Great somnath temple and when the siege of Gujarat was led. When the siege was over he took the idol and threw It to the community to trample the idol beneath their very own feet. But alongside disadvantages there comes at least one advantage He was the one to stop I think 4 Mongol invasions and that's why India is today where it is. Do you know how ruthless and scary were the Mongols. I'm sure that you would have heard of Genghis Khan he was the most powerful ruler and the Mongols would have destroyed every inch of India so He can't be considered as invader or patriot. He can only be described as most powerful ruler of his time.

Hey guys, loved yalls reaction! Mine was exactly the same. EPIC trailer. I was stunned and had goosebumps after watching it. The background score was so haunting and powerful. All 3 actors look so brilliant, like they are actually the characters from that era. The sets and cinematography are on a whole new level for Bollywood. Every scene and frame was just magnificent. I hope this movie ends up becoming the most historic hit. I love SLB for what he creates and the passion he puts into his craft. Deepika and Shahid look really refreshing together and so regal - like they were dipped in 22 karat gold. Ranveer looks gloriously devious and is a beast - my fav so far even though he is playing the villain! Looking forward to Dec 1st. Lots of love from Texas :)

Rajput is a warrior race. And the ones that are shown in this movie are Sisodias (Rajputs of Mewar). Like all the other Rajputs they also have a very rich history. This movie is about an incident of Mewar where Ruler of Delhi Allauddin Khilji laid a siege against emperor of Chittor (Mewar) Rawal Ratan Singh. They were given three days to decide either to surrender and merge into the Khilji dynasty or to have a war against them. Mewar's military was not even the half of khilji's military. Still they took a brave decision and fought against them. As all the men went for a war, all the women including Rani Padmini ( Queen of Mewar) did Jauhar (Self immolation) where all the ladies including their children jumped into the well of fire to protect their honour as they already knew that they hardly had any chances of winning the war against them.

Rajput King just to avoid war , he accepts and welcome him with Traditions and when he drops him out of palace door , Khilji breaks his promise & kidnaps her husband & sends letter to queen surrender yourself within 10days or RAjput King Head will be cut . But RAJPUT are very sensitive about their women and pride . so she orders her General Gora and Badal and few Brave Rajput Soldiers , who went and releases King . this is a big Strike and gave Bloody nose to Khilji in his home . . .and now Real war Happens and Rajputs are ready to face and Women are ready for Jauhar ( Jauhar is a tradition , where women used to jump in Ball of Fire , to keep their Pride alive , coz Muslims used to rape women and sell them in Market as sex slave ) . Wow, the trailer looks so good. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a master of craft and nobody can match it because he gets into so much minute details and ensures that everything is upto perfection. His movies are to be seen only for his craft and grandeur. Bahubali looks nowhere near this and feels like a fake in front of Padmavati or his earlier Bajirao Mastani. One can feel the effort and hardwork of all the technicians to put up such a grand thing. 300 crore for sure I suppose for Padmavati, hope it gets equal box office success like Bahubali-2. As for the actors, no doubt Deepika and Ranveer can never perform better in any movie or with any other director like with Sanjay. Shahid too will spring a good surprise like he did while working with Vishal Bharadwaj. With the trademark style of Sanjay, songs also should be superhit, but we still miss those great yesteryear lyricists who is needed to pen poetry with every frame of Sanjay which is needed to get the feel of the scene and movie.

Jayaprakash Balan Surely,But Baahubali had more hype than Padmavati.And no,Baahubali doesn't look fake in front of this movie.It had a bigger scale and a more grand vision but lacked artistic details.If anything the reason why you are probably thinking Baahubali looks inferior to this is due to Bhansali's knack of making his sets look as beautiful as possible.Trust me Rajamouli can make beautiful and artistic sets if he wants to.Eg:the swan boat song from BB2.

Intention to praise Padmavati or Sanjay Leela Bhansali was not to contradict Bahubali-2 or Rajamouli. Bahubali-2 was on the top level which any Indian could have imagined and only Rajamouli could have imagined such a thing. My point was that inspite of Bahubali being the best, it sill was fantasy and fiction due to which Rajamouli could take liberty to present it the way he wants and Bahubali depended more on special effects though that was a class apart. Whereas Sanjay doesn't have the liberty to think or mould the story of Padmavati as he wishes or want to present. And studying, researching and getting into minute details of those era and presenting it to perfection is no joke without compromising on the craft which Sanjay and Padmavati is. Hence Sanjay's movies are of a different level. You have to see the artisans and craftsman labour for it and above all, Sanjay's eyes not to miss even a thread in the entire movie.
